Loading Screen - Endless Ages

Im having a problem getting the game to load. It stops at the load screen where it says...
Kb:0 Downloading: EARevolutionAll.Cab, can someone plz help me with this?

is your firewall stopping it?

did u run it as administrator?

that link isnt up2date low. U have a firewall you need 2 disable, or an isp firewall you cant...

I've downloaded all patches disabled my firewall and everything but it still does the same thing. how do i run it as administrator? Also, after i downloaded the 1st patch it put a second EA icon on my desktop, hmmmm

If you are using Windows XP, you can enter the Control Panel through the Start Menu. Afterwards, go to User Accounts. You'll be able to see if your account is a computer administrator or not. If you are the only user on your computer, you should be an administrator.

Have you tried these steps? --

1- Turn off firewalls. Make sure nothing is blocking your connection to EA (including windows firewall, router firewall, internet security programs like Norton, etc.)
2- If your EndlessAgesR folder isn't in your C:\ Drive, try putting it there.
3- Try uninstalling, then reinstalling. ea-livesetup.exe should automatically update. If not, try patching manually.

Well I've tried everything under the sun and nothing seems to work. I was just playing the game 4 days ago with no problem. I had to go out of town for a few days but the day I left the server crashed or something while i was playing, so i was'nt sure if it was the game or something else so I re-instaled the game before I left and when I got back today and tried to log in and (nothing) Infact I just tried re-instaling AGAIN and downloaded all the patches AGAIN and im still getting the same thing. Administration should'nt have anything to do with it since I've already played the game with no problems. I guess my next option might be to do a system restore. Thx for all the replies and trying to help

Looks like I won't be playing EA anymore. I just did a system restore back to the day I 1st installed the game when it worked. Still nothing, so thx for trying to help guys I appreciate it.

I'm sure that there is a way to fix it. For now, try to get someone to upload for you or send you the file(s) you need.

I'm going to forward you to this thread, in which, I spoke of this exact problem I had (numerous times) and successfully overcame it.

EARevolutionexp.cab wont download

It might not work first install, but that doesn't mean you should give up. Try all variations of installation as I spoke of in that thread, GL.

ok, I've uninstaled 3x instaled 3x allowed my firewall to accept EA, tried instaling all 3 patchs 1 at a time, checked my administrative account, did a system restore back to the day it worked, still nothing

so I guess im just screwed!!

I'm going to assume you tried my suggestions.

Did you get the same exact issues when you ran the game fresh, how about when you ran it with 1.04, how about 1.05, and the final patch? Are you saying you get the same exact issue when you run the game at all these different states?

I know if you just get a client/install that works for another person, it likely wont work for you. For some reason you need to keep doing it until it auto updates.

What I stated worked for me, and I am positive unless the issue is your computer, then it will work for you.

yes im saying i get the same issues when i run the game in all the different states. I just don't know what else to do. This is BS when the game just worked for me 4 days ago and nothing has changed on my computer. I just went to main folder and opened the cache file and both files saying EARevolutionAll are empty, hmmmm

Just opened clientlog file and figured out what the problem was. I coulda swore my username was WarMinister until i read the file then it dawned on me i had used a different username, omg i feel so stupid ahahaha, but anyway i got in the game and my frogs name is now Hkrt when it's supposed to be Squirt, lol wtf is up with that??
