Story of my return - Endless Ages

I wrote a short story of my exploits while away from EA until now and its return.

I hope you enjoy it.

Opening my eyes as I pushed myself off the ground only realizing I didn???t have the strength to stand just yet. Taking a knee I begin to drink in my surroundings. A scene of familiarity began to wash over me as I began to understand where I was?????? I was Home!

It had been what seemed a life time since I breathed in the sweet fragrant air of my home island but in some ways my existence beyond this world as real as it seamed could have been just a dream???. Or was it?

As I reached into my mind I began to drag forth fragments of memory of this possible dream to try and gain understanding to how and why I am again back in this world. I remember at one time being human and battling against a great horde of beasts, undead and creatures. But I could not remember where as I began to draw strength to my legs I stood up and began to walk through the foliage still lost in thought. My mind may have been playing tricks on me but an image of this human lying dead on the ground a human I had thought to be me but wasn???t as I was looking at its mutilated body through the eyes of something else???. Something a lot bigger???

I stopped and sat down in front of a clear pool of water and gazed into the crystal liquid as though to draw some further understanding from its purity. While looking at my own amphibious reflection a leaf from the tree above broke free from its limb and drifted slowly down and touched the surface breaking its perfection and sending ripples distorting my reflection. What I saw next shocked my memory into full understanding. The reflection of myself not of this world but from a land known as Azeroth. I gazed at the face of a Tauren dressed in armor. His face seasoned with scars and aged with experience. I remember traveling deep in the Stranglethorn jungles to a place called Zul???gurub to combat an ancient serpent god named Hakar. Memories were flooding back to me like bolts of electricity racing around in my body. Thoughts of the hot stale air rising off the surface of molten rock as I fought my way through the depths of the core to face a fire god named Ragnaros. My mind was swimming as it raced through fight after fight within Blackrock Mountain and into the lair of Nefarian inside Blackwing Lair. Countless images of Dragons crept to the surface of my mind???

Standing on this green lush Island I had almost forgotten my time in the harsh desert of Silithus as a member of my clan pulled forth a scepter and struck it against an ancient gong summoning long forgotten magic to open the gates to the Temple of Ahn???Qiraj releasing hosts of creatures sealed within long ago. A fire began to burn in my head as I remembered the Legion and its corruption. Its Necropolises hovering over the land as a plague. My thoughts unfolded into images of Kel???Thuzad???s Necropolis Naxxramas and the horrors I and my companions faced within its walls.

Shaking my head as though it would drown these horrid memories out I stood up and began to explore my long lost home. Standing on the beach I reached down and took a hand full of sand and held my arm out as I let the sand pore out through my fingers in a steady stream back to the ground. ???The Sands of time??? I said to myself as I remembered the Caverns of Time and my battle against Archimonde at the world tree in Hijal Summit. As the last grain of sand fell from my fingers I snapped back to reality. Turning around I looked at the cave that would take me up to the top of the island and to the village of my people. As I began to step into the depths of the cavern the darkness forced me to remember the black walls of the Black temple as I came up from the ground into the temple itself I and my companions fought our way through countless waves of evil. Defeating the High Warlord Naj???entus, Supremus the giant guardian of the Black temples entrance. A blur of mixed images flashed in my head as I remembered the path to the top of this temple of darkness. To the final image of my existence in Azeroth. We stood before Illidan Stormrage. Although we fought this being of power we suffered losses. Illidan was destroyed but yet I will never forget his shadow.

I finally understand how I have made it back to this place. I now know this was no dream. I have looked upon the shadow and I remember the evil. I have been summoned back to IIA because Datro lives!!!

I still have my game outline and base designs as well as all the outlines for the cities towns and dungions...

but it takes money to get a game developed so im at a stand still on it.

That was brilliant. That is practically an EA advertisement....now we need someone to read it in an epic voice get some actually recording of EA in there :P

I use to write stories for this game long time ago if you havnt seen them I will bump the original post for ya

Infact im searching for an old unfinished story about the High Priests of Cron. I didnt finish it because the game died but now I think its time I dust it off and finish it.
