PLAYER RULES OF CONDUCT
Rules are in place to ensure that players have an even and enjoyable playing field. Please adhere to the following both in game and on the forum:
1- Players will exhibit mutual respect for other players, game staff and game developers.
2-No racial, sexist or other forms of hate speech will be allowed. Players will be warned once. Any infraction after that will mean an automatic one day suspension of the game and forum accounts. Any player with repeat offenses may face more stern consequences such as permanent suspension from game and website.
ALL PlLAYERS ARE URGED TO INSTALL THE OPTIONAL OBSENITY FILTER. If you are easily offended or have small children who have access to the game- please download from this thread:
Optional Word Filter
For those who choose NOT to install the filter: The game staff and administrators understand that players may get frustrated from time to time and let slip offensive or obscene words. However heavily obscene words, derogatory terms and other slang words or phrases for body parts and even “cybering‘- are not allowed. Keep the cussing and obscenities to a minimum or face in game ‘gagging’ and on forums ’awaiting approval’, temporary or even permanent suspension depending upon severity.
3- Players shall not impersonate any of the game staff (GM’s, forum moderators and developers) in any way, shape or form. Offenders will be suspended for no less than one week. Second offenders will be permanently suspended from the game and website.
4- Player names-If a player with any profanity, racial terms, drug, other such offensive terms, celebrity/famous names, phrases or in game NPC's for their in game identity, will be required to change said name with the assistance of a GM or Dev. Examples would include "Britney Spears" "Einstein" "IsmackUup" "Urmomma" "Celeste" "Darius" or other such things. Said player will be asked to log out of the game and the player will be required to PM a Dev or Head Game Master with their username and what they would like their new name to be. If the player refuses to log out or to choose a new name, they will be disconnected from the server and put on a one week suspension. Their name will changed to a random "cute" phrase of the GM's or Dev's descretion. Further violations will result in permanent deletion of the account.
5. Players are required to report things such as duplication (dupe) bugs and or exploits of any kind. By utilizing these without reporting, or using a known problem, will result in a player having their skill sets reduced to zero and a one week suspension. Repeat offenders will be permanently suspended. Selling or buying exploits for real life money or in game credits will result in that player being banned permanently. This will apply to both buyer and seller.
6. Any player caught exploiting to gain in weapon tech, mind control or melee will have these skills set back to zero. Exploiting can be defined by:
Breaking through the map and fighting creatures from the other side
Breaking through walls/floors/ceilings etc. to pass a certain section of the map or portal.
Fighting creatures through walls of any kind.
Getting creatures stuck in portions of the map where as the player can not get hurt, or no one else can find the creature.
Dragging agro mobs into safe zones, especially newbie zones and cities
The use of terrain to your advantage is permitted as long as it is in clear view of the creature your fighting and you are not away from keyboard macroing.
7. Harassment of other players is unacceptable. This would include blocking sections of the game/map from other players or killing all the mobs in an area over and over again so that others can not complete their quests. Players will be warned and then suspended for no less than one week if found doing this.
8. Macroing- The use of external programs called macros are permitted. However, macroing magic while in any main city is prohibited. Macroing other skills (engineering, alchemy, smithing, shape shifting and familiars) is permitted in main cities but please do so in a private area so as to ensure that your character isn’t accidentally disturbed or killed. This is for your own protection. If a GM finds you not following this rule they will portal you to a private, safe area. This MAY or MAY NOT affect your macro.
Away From Keyboard (AFK) macroing weapon tech, mind control, melee or shape shifting through battle, also referred to as battle skills, is strictly prohibited. If a GM is made aware of a player AFK macroing a battle skill and the player does not respond within 5 minutes, said player will be portaled to an area of the map of the GM’s choosing. The player’s name will then be put on a list to watch for them AFK macroing a battle skill again. At which point a second offense will result in that characters’ skills and stats being reset down to the first level.
Example: Player has 16 weapon tech or mind control - it will be reset to 1 (one) along with the strength (STR), wisdom (WIS) and dexterity (DEX) being set back to original settings as a new player.
These rules are subject to change as the developers and administrators find necessary. Any and all disciplinary action taken, such as being banned or suspended, can be appealed through arbitration means of e-mail. Discussion on the forums of these actions will result in an increase of said action. Example a one day ban will get a two day. If you feel you've been wrongfully punished send an email to
