Optional Word Filter - Endless Ages

For any of you who wants to filter out curse words while you play, you can download the optional filter file from here. Please extract it to your endless ages folder(not gamefiles). I will try to update it periodically when I find words that have not been filtered.

Trying to get around this word filter to curse at people who use it will be considered an offence. For those of you who feel like rebelling against this, I will be happy to ban you.

Speaking of different swear words bleg, Ijji's Drift City recently had a filter in. Whenever you swore, the whole sentence would change to : I Love IJJI! Even if you typed like 3 lines and the swear word was in a word, it would only be seen as those 3 words.

It just means you can't go out of your way to cuss at those who want to use the filter. Just don't be too excessive, you can't just swear all the time because the filter is here, especially since not everyone will notice it. "Excessive" will be judged by the gm team, do it too much and its a ban. No playing around here.

soo... now ppl can curse or not?
I mean... It is a game where it is based around fighting and people will get ****ed, and then swear, you cant really take that away from someone... If people dont like it then well i say to bad... because that means 1, you are eather tooo young and immature to play, or 2 your to old and you might get a seizure doing some things... lol come on... is EA going soft or something?

You can still cuss and act up all you want (Within reason of course). Just those who choose not to listen to that sort of thing, can choose to filter it out. I don't get what you're problem is.

It's not like I asked the devs to make it a mandatory part of the next patch...

maybe the devs are trying to broaden the spectrum of gamers drawn to the game and a bigger audience. Not everyone who plays a game throws a temper tantrum everytime they get frustrated. Some folks can control themselves no matter the situation. You don't see other games putting up with profanity in game- why should EA?

Why not implement this word filter into the game and then offer an optional way to remove the word filter.

Ok i almost never cuss in this game and i try not to let other people do the same... So lets say i forgot something for a quest and its a hassle to go back and get and something comes out is that a ban?

lol uhm ok

1- this is OPTIONAL means you don't have to have it. At least right now.

2- I said it before and I'll said it again, a momentary slip of the tongue is one thing, a constant barrage of it is something else. We are all human and we make mistakes.

3- if you go AROUND the filter-- it's something that SHOULD be punished.

tl;dr - if someone else has the filter and you let out a cuss word, no harm no foul. If they don't, then they should get it.

ahh ok i guess i just mis read... So if i swear its no biggie, if they dont have the filter its THEIR fault not mine, as long as i dont reword a swear word so that it blocks the filter... correct?

your still not allow to run around swearing like a sailor this is a manual patch and some people that may have just joined dont need there first visit to be a bunch of cursing. Like they have said above the slip or a few slips is not a big deal it is the ones that try to make every other word a curse that is a problem.
the sailor remark is just an old saying not ment in anyway to offend any naval personal

: / Does "Fack" count as trying to avoid the swear filter? Cuz when I say it, it's as a genuine expression of being really ****ed, not as a means of escaping the filter.
