Nah Arceus, the trading post doesnt interfere with the server.

Apple, subscribers will be given free tokens once all the refunds are processed. We also have to write a script to add tokens to every subscribers account. It'll take some time but you'll get em, dont worry.

True, but what comes to my mind is the ND jetpacks...

need to only buy a JP here and you're set for life, no need to support ingame economy by buying JPs from engys, PKers can't jack your armor, weapon, or JP.

if there are ND jetpacks, I would really be inclined to buy one, because it makes the game a lot easier.

Well there was a non-drop quested jetpack before. Not to mention nondrop armors and weapons. So really it woudlent be much diffrent other than the fact that the game makes money off of them and its easier to buy them...

It makes perfect sense kane... There are real life people here playing this game. You work in real life to make that money. You pay the owners of this game to be able 2 buy that stuff. Then you lose it all because of a pker and he takes it from you. Thats no diffrent then going to Wal-mart, buying a $10-100 item, and getting it stolen as you leave the parking lot. There is no difference AT ALL.

You don't HAVE to buy these, you could have an engineer make a jetpack with the same stats. You pay for the advantage of not having to do so, and perhaps having a cooler jetpack.

Im just thinking of the new comers who will buy something and then go with it and get killed by a pker and then see that its gone and it was looted, and say nope... never again. And then EA stops making a little bit of money becasue you liked the idea of being able to kill that person and take their jetpack.
You pay to play the game.
You pay to use that item, not to get it taken away...
Just like if you get banned, you get a refund.

well spirit, i understand where your coming from, but most newcomers wouldnt spend money right away for a game they never played before, and if they did, its there own fault in a way for not taking the time to see the risks at buying these sort of items...

I assume the actual money refunds are the first priority? I have no use for the tokens, i'm just trying to figure out when I can expect my refund.

if you were in the top 100 you do get a shirt and a cd. that should cover the 10$.

Might wanna put that 100 tokens costs $10 up there too.

And as for stuff like ND jetpacks or whatever else, maybe it could be made so you have to be at a certain point in the game, like owning the actual ND item, so that way you have it and it's not droppable.

Hmmms... Well, lets think of it not for the players, but for the game revenue.

Having the items non-trade, non-drop could mean more incentive for people to buy tokens.
Having the items tradable, but non-drop, could also be incentive for people to buy and to sell to others.
Having the items tradable and droppable could lower incentive for people to buy. However, there may be a certain few who might buy even more, to have spares, or be a repeat customer each time s/he loses the item and cannot get it back.

Hard decision =p

The problem is....that players are very clickish and will not sell just anyone heals or jp's you almost have to make the items yourself. Clans will sometimes make them for the clans so I would be in favor of ND.
