Patch 2.1 - Endless Ages

I downloaded the patch 2.1 patch and it says Fatal error, couldn't read file "/installkitvfs/lib/installkit/miniarc.tcl": no such file directory. I really want to play but think I need the patch 'cause there is no server list. Loved this game back in the days, shapeshifting into those one eyed huge monsters. Please help. Thanks guys.

I tried the 2.1 client (full installer) just today. I ended up getting a blank blue bar after a few things load, and nothing else happens. And apparently I can't run 1.0 while 2.1 is installed (it leads to 2.1's files. I'm guessing it has to do with certain registry keys.). So, I uninstalled 2.1 and am in the process of installing 1.0 again. Luckily, it was still available here:

But for your case, maybe try using the 2.1 full installer if the patch didn't work.

Just finished installing 1.0 and apparently it wasn't the same one I had before. So I'm stuck out of EA as well...

I had that blue bar problem to... I downloaded the game files and it loaded... but now I can't connect to the server.

Ok I'm missing autoexec.aut Anyone know where I can get it?

I tryed the "missing files?" Thread.

Just use the 2.0 installer...Server side isn't at 2.1 yet. I just offered it to pre-load, but jason is taking a long time to change the server.

Are you entirely sure the installer said 2.0 and not 2.1? 2.0 worked for me. Make sure you uninstall any other versions first. I used CCleaner after every uninstall to clean out unnecessary registry files. Restarting your computer after uninstalling would probably do the same thing.

2.0 is on the front page. Do not use 2.1 yet. You may need to re-add your firewall exception if you used the original 1.0 installer before.
