Aight...i've started a blob and ive gotten all the runes for the rune quest...i went off to destroyer to lvl (not AFK mind you :P) and as i was lvling i noticed that my dex and wis were climbing fairly rapidly..but my str was staying the same....anyone have any clue wat is happening?....does str only rise when a blob lvls melee?....idk..but it seems to me like its a mjor problem..without str you cannot arm guns, armor, or swords or anything that requires you to have a high lvl of strength. I did get the str ring so it helped it out by 20 but str needs to lvl more than that.

I haven't tested since the server switch, but my Blob gains STR from weapon training. There is a bug currently where the Smithy skill doesn't raise your stats, so for me to smith new items I always have to go and raise my stats by shooting crosps and such. So I know that I have gained all 3 types of stats by doing this with a gun.

if you dont have the str requirement to weild a weapon of any type you will only gain dex and wis while training

basically if you equip a str ring or badge as a blob to be able to wear a weapon, when you unequip them you will not have the required str even though the weapon is still equipped, so inturn your str will not rise while using that weapon unless you have the proper str, you cannot unequip the badge or str ring that puts your str at the appropriate lvl. I find it quite a usefull bug as the dex and wis gain is quite fast even at higher stats, and the str will catch up and pass the dex and wis quicker than normal gain it seems, i tested it pretty well in aplha. It was originally reported as a gun bug but it is actually a stat bug related to not have the str required to use that weapon, it happens with guns as well as melee.

so if i cannot equip a gun without haveing my badge or ring on, then i will not gain str stats when i lvl with that gun?...that doesnt sound like a very useful bug to me...and i dont get it..lol i might be misreading it tho

Link this sometimes happens to me, what you want to do is either relog or die... That should set it right but for me its the other way around STR and DEX go up like there is no tomorrow but WIS is like a snail.

P.S. Why u starting a blob?

i'm starting a blob so i can whoop ur blobs A$$ :P lol nah..back in booster i had a blob and frog..so i wanna do it again....and i got it fixed i guess..i was doing the 11 aq and i had my str ring and badge on and when i was killing the mobs my str was climbing faster than my dex and wis..and i was in des just a min ago...b4 spet came in and destroyed you and nightmare...and i had my ring and badge off and my str was rising with my dex and wis..so i guess its fixed

P.S. i'll stop killing ya septic, you can lvl in des..lol that way you can get ur chalis and then youll be a lil bit of a challenge to pvp...or kill....no joke
