New Install - Loading Problem.... - Endless Ages

ok so recently i bought a laptop and today tried to install EA on it using the ea-installer (whatever its called), the 1.5, and 1.6 patch, and unzipping the new launcher into the EA folder where it installed, in that order. also i installed the game to the default directory (so it doesnt mess things up). I click on the icon to play and the home screens shows up to login, i enter my info, hit next, and the game just sits on "LOADING" and doesnt move on from there. I have tried installing and reinstalling like 3 times and it still does the same thing. any suggestions?

I havent installed the new patch since the up but the new patch thing may be causing you problems or a firewall other than that no clue sorry :/

Is there a file name in the window when it gets stuck? If there is, it may be a simple matter of getting that file. If not, well let's just burn that bridge when we have to cross it.

there is no file name in the loading window. just the normal black screen with the creature thing in the middle and "LOADING" under it. just sits there...>_<

yes i did, installed the game, applied the 1.5, then 1.6 patch, then unzipped the new launcher into the C:\EndlessAgesR\ folder or whatever it says, and still just sits on LOADING screen after i hit next

but did you also put in the patches that came before 1.5

Ok try this...

On your desktop you have the QUICK PATCH that was opened with Winrar> Click and open the patch file> Now DBL click the file "ENDLESS.exe"

I had probs with this as well BUT doing it this was allowed me to play till I got it all in proper working order....Good luck

no i didnt, i cant even find those on here. i can only find 1.5 and 1.6

ok just like some people on here my problem now is that when loading its stuck at "Verifying:EARevolutionAPX.cab" and none of the ftp sites are working to download the files from...so...what can i (and the other people on here) do to help get the game up and running correctly?
