When I load the character screen, that is all that happens, the loading bar turns green and just stays that way!!!! wwhy?????

Try turning off firewalls, norton, and any other thing that would block your connection to the game, Make sure you have the most recent patch installed to the same folder as your game was installed into.

Yeah like Solo said, its either that you have an isp firewall or that you have a firewall. Download the latest patch and install them. It should say
Downloading *filename* 0kb/s Or something like that before it goes green, and 10 seconds later it should turn green becasue the server disconnects you since you didnt respond within 10 seconds.
Sooo, yeah, if that dosent work then post again

I seem to be having the same problem. only my bar says "kb 0 downloading earevolutionall.cab" but then does nothing.

im also having troubles with teh auto updater, and never have before. im dling manual patch as i speak, we will see how that goes.

now I'm stuck on downloading staticTXB.CAB and I've tried installing the manual patch as well as the txb file. ive even uninstalled re-installed the game with no luck.

Alternatively if you do not want to download the full manual patch every time the game is updated, you browse this directory of ALL the updated files and download only the files you need. You may browse and download the files at the URL below

OK now its done loading and everything seemed fine. then i got to this black screen and it said i was already logging in. then it said i cantr connect to server. The problem isnt Firewall cuz i tried it with that off to the same result !!! lol

Ok. Now it finishes loading and everything and i go to a black screen that says im already loggingon. Then it says i cant connect to server!!!! I turned of Firewall and tried and nothing. The same thing happened! (

If it says cannot connect to server, something is blocking your connection.

However if it says "Alreaddy logged on - Ctrl+Q to Quit" ... you may have the login bug. In this case, try clearing your cache and restarting... If it STILL says this message, you will have to wait until the next server restart...

hfamgamer: Go to the link oogie has posted, download the StaticTXB.cab file. Do not just put the .cab file into your gamefiles folder, this will do NOTHING for you. You have to open up the .cab file and extract the files inside to your \gamefiles\ folder in order for it to work.

I followed these directions and ended up with the same result. I am connected to the internet thru a router, could this be causing a conflict?

It could. However, the instructions should have worked. Are you still stuck downloading that one file?

What is your gamefiles folder called? \EndlessAgesR\gamefiles\ -or- \EndlessAgesRgamefiles\ ?
If it is the latter, you may have a problem with your install path in your registry. Please read the last step in under the 0kb section in the sticky mentioned above to fix this.

I've checked the install paths and they are all correct. I still get hung up on the staticTXB.CAB file. I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong. I've un-installed the game client and now I have 4 icons on my desk top that I can't delete. *sigh* and this looked like a fun game to play

Could you please take a screenshot of your EndlessAgesR and your gamfiles folder and host it on imageshack, then put it here?

Okay, which means the fix got you past StaticTXB. Try to repeat the above steps for EVERY file you are missing. Worst case scenario, you will have to do it for lots, if not all, of them. But, at least it works. =)

PS: Your folders are really messed up. I'm referring to your 2nd screenshot. There should not be another gamefiles and another mapsmodels folder INSIDE your gamefiles folder. The client and the launcher should not be in your gamefiles folder either.

I was having the same problem but by using the dirrectory i managed to resolve it.

Now when my ea client loads up it says:

"Connection Established"
"Disconnected from server - Ctrl + Q to quit"

Anyone know what the problem might be, ea was working fine for me yesterday.
