Cannot Access Game Directory - Endless Ages

Hi all,

I just installed EA, downloaded the updates, created my account, and tried to log in via the Desktop shortcut.

However, in the little light blue bar in the bottom right-hand corner of the 'Loading' screen, it says it is verifying a series of files, then it searches for updates for a few seconds ('0kb Downloading' ), and finally it says 'Cannot Access Game Directory'.

How can I go about resolving this problem?

Your problem could be similar this the one listed here:

Check to make sure your install path is correct =)

I tried uninstalling and then re-installing but that didn't solve the problem.

It installs to C:/EndlessAgesR by default, rather than C:/Program Files/...could that have something to do with it?

No, it is supposed to install into your root directory. The problem that the person in the thread listed above had was that the game installed into C:\EndlessAgesR instead of C:\EndlessAgesR\, which in turn put all the folders into the wrong place. Could this be the problem you are experiencing?

Try downloading the patch, looks like you have hte problem where you can't connect to the download server... I have it to, its easy to live with as long as patches are put up regularly,
Download these and install.
