0% download - Endless Ages

So ive never had a problem getting into EA before but after the random crash a few nights ago i couldnt get in so i did the manual patch.... and yay i got in but now i tryed to get in again and i had the same problem so now im doing the manual patch again .... it sure would hate to have to do this manual patch everytime i wanted to play.... let me know if anyone gots any ideas to help.

Run regedit and look at the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ENDLESS_AGESR. Under INSTALL_PATH make sure it has your install directory in there (like C:\EndlessAgesR\ ) and includes the \ at the end. Then repatch.

I'm stuck on the loading screen from firetown to catacombs... It says 0% downloading and never moves. I've logged out several times and re joined but still stuck on that loading screen.

I'm having the same problem as Proof. Checked the registry. It's good. Got all the files from other folks. Still nothing. What's the deal?

Here's how I fixed this problem when it occured to me: uninstalled game, removed all EA files that were left after uninstall, ran ea-livesetup.exe and installed the game, ran patch 1.5 and made sure it installed into the right directory, checked regedit and added a \ after the install path like forumgame mentioned before, then ran the game and it worked just fine.

Im sorry but do play a game i dont think i should have to be a computer god ya know.. i just wanna play a game not learn computers.

I agree it should be just a matter of installing and playing, but this fix works and it's fairly easy. But did you fix it or not? If not I have no problems giving you a step by step explanation on how to edit the regkey.

I don't really know why the comp I was on didn't want to work with the rune bosses but it just kind of fixed itself

Hey's what the end of my ClientLog.txt says about it:

logon ok:d:\games\EndlessAges\CACHE\Catacombs.cab
Authentication Denied (invalid username)

I logged in with my regular username and I get to choose my character so I don't get it...
