I have downloaded the game client from the main page. I launched EA and created an user account.
When I pressed next, the screen goes black and theres that wierd looking thing with the word loading. It seems its downloading the whole game again to C:\Program Files\EndlessAgesR. I installed the original files to C:\Program Files\EndlessAges.
Does it have to download the whole game again? It would be helpful if someone would tell me step by step how to install the game.

This is normal. It is just updating itself. Many patches have been released since the original installation of the game. Let it patch..

However, if you ever get stuck on a certain file (which is a common problem due to people's firewalls), you can try manually downloading the patches here:

Ok i think ill go with the manual patches.
So what i must do is-
Install first client version
Apply patch
Play

Got it to work.
First impressions:
Pros:
Looks nice, I like the way you move. FPS combat is teh awesome.
Cons:
That place where I'm sent after noob isle is pointlessly big. Would be nicer if it had only 2 floors.
The game seems to be underpopulated. Which server has the most players?

back years ago all that space was necessary-- folks working on stuff everywhere.

there is only one server that I know of but hopefully, by word of mouth, the player base will grow.
