Trading post Request Addition - Endless Ages

Ok. Heres the deal. This page is to just keep a list of items you think the trading post should have. No posting flames or supportive posts on what people say. Lets just keep it a idea only thread. You can go to this link - Trading Post Addition Discussion - to say what you htink of peoples ideas. Im doing this so its easy for Jason and them to sort, and they dont have to waste their time reading a hundred messages just to read 20 ideas.. So keep it in this format.
Double posts are ok here, just don't repeat yourself...
ONLY POST IDEAS HERE *IN A NEAT AND EASY FASSION*, REMEMBER YOUR COMPLAINTS OR APPROVALS ARE WELCOME HERE - -
-Str rings, maybe like +20 str for 5$, +100 str for 50$ something like that.
-Dex ring, same as str ring
-Nondrop version of Jetpack *same price as others but only 1 jp instead of 10...*
-Race Orbs
-Rune boss orbs, and Ash. *like frube orb to go walking around with*
-Portal gun *works like a travelers ticket but never runs out, I think this idea has been posted before*
-SS armors
-Old houses
-*until and if boomtown opens up* One day ticket to boomtown
-Partial Invis armor *You can still see clearly where the person is, you just would have to be looking*
-Better vehicles, like ones in Trendor
-Gambling part of the trading post *you gamble so many tokens with a certain chance of double or nothing.*
-Increase you're maximum number of auction items by +2
-Ean orb *people with extra accounts might find this usful and buy it, other people wont care*
-*i know this has been said already by i think hellbinder =D*Faster Experiance ring or somethign like that, which causes you to gain experiance faster, and only lasts a certain amount of time.
-Extra vault space, more than 4 slots
-Props for you're house *couch, tv, widescreen tv, bed, etc
-Cool sun glasses for hm/hf
-Questing card - lasts for 24 hours, can't be pked
all around safezone*

wow lol thats a bunch of neat ideas you have there...hmmm lets see.

- the rings ideas sound good though the + up is a bit exaggerated
- the nondrop jet would be great
- the race orbs sound good
- the rune boss orbs ummm the idea is great though its a bit much
- the portal gun -lol- its great though if it never runs out you might as well buy some ammo for it (because never running out is crazy)
- the SS armor and old houses are also great ideas
- the invis armor ..hmm dont know about that one..seeing as people will complain (i can't see him/her) during PK
- better vehicles (i think we have some kickbutt ones at the moment) though the ones in trendor look sweet
- Gambling hmm not seeing how it would work though it might be good not too sure about that one
- increasing number in auction would be very appreciated
- ean orbs hmmm i just dont know
- extra xp. points (twas i who came up with that - as a scroll with limited time depending on how much you're willing to spend, the scroll would last) though as a ring sounds good too and someone else explained how it would work better than i did
- extra vault space would be great
- Props lol would be awesome
- sun glasses for Hm/Hf would be nice - i might add a clown mask in the process (i dont know, i'm just weird)
- the questing card i dont know how that would work but good idea nonetheless
- all around safe zone is a bit much (why not have it as an item instead with a number on it) - lets say you have a safe zone card or scroll once you use it at a non-safe zone spot if you get killed you'll just rebirth there though since it is limited hmmm lets say you get 5

I wanted to add the following - since it would help
ok...since the the jet pack, head gear, thigh, ring, chest plate, gloves waste space on the bar for the hot keys why not have it altogether
they would all be one - though if you dont have a certain item hmm lets say the thigh armor
you will still be able to use it or any item thats you dont have you'll still be able to use.. it will equip all of your armor into one hotkey - i'll add to the explanation if people dont understand...
this will gives the player a better oppotunity to kickbutt and have the things you need

-jutebox *could be included fulltime, would love to see it, like have a folder in teh EA folder on your comp for MP3 files, then have it tied straight into the game, Air Rivals already does it, thought it was a really good idea*
-clothes *oogie already suggested it, but think bout it, like the trading post could become a hot topic or abercrombie or wal-mart or w/e, would be awsome to customize your character while still being able to wear your armor.*
-tickets to in-game concerts *like have a rave in the karma, and just play songs from jasons mp3 player or something, could be GM hosted*

i think the portal gun would be overpowered personally

Some great ideas but I gotta say this...
You cant put things in there that are overpowering to others who cant buy. This is the reason people are complaining about the gold in there.
-100str ring? That would earn a forum and tons of complaints...
-Race orb or rune boss orbs... Ummm no. Race orb could be awarded in event or something when its fixed up but rune boss orbs... Umm some of those things are HUGE plus they have a ton of health and do a crap load of damage.
-Jutebox wouldnt fit the game, or a concert.
-Non drop jetpack should be quested.
-Clothes would be good if they gave no advantage.
-Quest card whould be hard to make and wouldnt help that much. I've never gotten pked while questing except a couple days ago when there was a war in destroyer :P
-Ean orb is quested and very easy to get no need to be in TP.
-No teleporting gun.
-No invisible armor.
-XP ring would kinda be bad because of complaints + its already so easy to level you can get to 1-12 within a day half assing it if you have enough ammo or other materials.
-No gambling.
-BLs already have cool shades so if your going to give the humans something your going to have to show some love to the frogs man :P
-Holiday stuff should be awarded in game cause I sure dont want to miss out on a santa hat or bunny ears and I think some others agree here. :P
-ADDS-
Like I said before we cant really have items that overpower other people that cant buy them.
-Clothes (already said) - but give no advantage
-Maybe a few SS armors or adds but Most should be quested.
-Item books that might hold a colection of certain items like an item that takes one inventory space but could hold up to 10 SS orbs or something like that? Dunno about that one may be hard to make :P
-Old school houses would be cool to see as well as new ones but some should be available in game too cause once again that would fall under giving a BIG advantage. Not really an advantage but you used to be able to buy houses in game too durring gold and it should be that way again.
-Maybe a pack of arena access cards like 1 for 2 tokens 5 for 10, 10 for 20 and 15 for 25 or something (Last one you get a discount of a couple of tokens for buying in bulk :P not that big of a deal if you dont like the last one :P) The cards give you access to the PvP arena or anything like that for one trip and also have them available in game for 5gold = 1 card. Seems fair IMO.
-Levitation scroll that lets you levitate for 30 seconds (Cannot use a gun or any other skill while levitating) with a 5 or 10 minute cool down. Could also be quested in game for the people who cant buy again.
-=Some of these ideas might have been mentioned or even a few already in there. THE MAIN THING IS - You cant give the rich too much of an advantage or this game will most likly crash. If you add things in the TP that are good they should be available in game from a quest or a store. Like the 17 gun. I think the 17 gun should be quested and quested ONLY. Thats like removing part of the game IMO like taking CoA or Catas and making you buy a card to go in.

-i think a jute box could be added to the ESC menu, i'd be happy to make the windows for it, but i can't code it.
-same with the concerts it shouldn't be that hard, should it? *concerts where intended as an event type thing*
