Running in windowed mode - Endless Ages

Im not sure how easy this would be in terms of effort vs benefit.

But if its easy to do, could you make it so when you run in windowed mode, the game is maximised, and the taskbar visible instead of a fixed size floating window?

One of the problems I have with windowed mode is that the resolution is the same as my desktop, so the game window covers the entire screen and it means there isnt much benefit from running the game in windowed mode apart from it not crashing when you try and tab.

Ideally Id like it so I could see my taskbar AND my armour resistances at the same time, At the moment it seems to be a tradeoff one or the other.

There is a combo box above the FullScreen check box that you can choose different resolutions for. Try a smaller resolution.

to do this all you have to do is make your desktop resolution as high as ur card can handel then set the game res to 1024x768

Careful with over sizing on some older computers, If you go higher than what the video card or the monitor can handle you may crash them both.

i run 1280x800 and can see everything....

Hmm. Not sure if this works, but try it out. If you run 1024x768, lets say, take off 30 pixels and manually change the 768 to 738, making it 1024x738. Play around with it =)

i run at 1440x900 for both and can still see my entire desktop ( 9 monitors LOL)

I don't mean to burst your guy's bubble...but since there was no reply saying that what I suggested didn't work I think it's safe to say Vad's playing in windowed mode >.>

Yeah changing res will work, but I really only want about 30 pixels off the bottom of the screen to make room for my taskbar, I guess i'll put up with it.
