Well of course, i guess arena is in the works and will soon or late be back in game (if i remember correct, there was some instancing bug that created clones of maps for every player after an arena fight, something like that).
But in the meantime i was thinking about a quick "temporary" replacement for it :
Just the old arena map, with an entrance portal to it somewhere (better yet, a 5th option in Travelers NPCs dialog box, hence you'd have to pay 1000 to enter it), and an exit portal that would lead to your rebirth, located in the bottom central room. Make the whole arena a "non-drop" zone, like runebosses lairs are currently.
Et voila ! That would be a "PvP without losing stuff" zone, accessable from any major city. No timer, no arena NPC, no problem maybe
Anyway, that would be cool to put this in, ONLY if it's really a MINIMUM hassle for devs, since that's a mere temporary fix until the real arena comes back ;-)
But it doesn't look like too complex or involving engine stuff and whatnot, so i figured i had to post it here.
