I dunno i kinda like the acid gun, its a funny looking handgun and looks appropriate for one.

Its not that bad just ignore it or use another gun... it is only level 1 you know.

It doesn't blow up thats the spray of acid hitting its target i would assume.

The acid is a corrosive material that is highly unstable, contact with another element results in instant combustion.

Yeah being a game I could say taht the acid is empowered by a god and when it hits something the god likes to hear it go boom, so thats why it blows up and makes the sound of something blowing up =D.

I think it works in more of a, you fire a small presumably glass (glass won't corrode with acid) or some other very fragile container is fired from the gun (using air i guess) and when contact is made, the canister shatters, letting acid out everywhere thus creating an acid mist.

The acid gun is simple explosive acid that instantly combusts when it reacts with living or non-living things such as flobs. As a result it exploads and does a low damage of 20 or so.
