graphical touchups

Something that has always erked me about this game is the amount of bush league lighting that went into it. This isn't the actual techniques that are used so much of the color choices. The fog is something that bugs the hell out of me, its obviously supposed to match up with the time of day but instead ends up looking like jerry Garcia's wet dream. If the fog was to stay one color maybe a light grayish blue then it would go along way to eliminate some of the eyesore that is the mainland in this game.

Also the Blue lighting that goes on during night time is creating all kinds of really horrible lighting bugs indoors, plus it looks like ****.

I am automatically assuming these are easy fixes (tell me if im wrong) that could go a long way to improving the over all look of the main land.

on a personal note I really love the look of the starting island really simple brightly textured polly worlds that would be really easy to emulate even by amature artists. might I suggest taking model entries from the users to lighten the ease of development and get some real community involvement.

2.) System bugs are to be fixed first if the game does not look "pretty" I'm sure jason knows some things are wrong but he will fix it depending on priority.

Were focusing more on functionality then look atm, though the lighting is a top priority.

We have an update for COA coming in shortly that'll fix the lighting in that map.

Armaggeddon is working on the rest of the maps too.

Yeah i hate the fog. But as jason said a stable game is better than one that looks good.

About COA while we are at it:
What keys do I need in my possession to enter FT
I have my prido emblem yet I still can't get in FT.

Your emblems ARE your keys. You need to be reformed into your normal form, and have your 11 emblem to enter the Firetown portal. Likewise, you must be reformed and have your 12, 13, and 14 emblem to enter the Catacombs, CoA, or 14 Dungeon, respectively.
