Black MArcket = Bazaar
you can make a safe part of the city in the black market or somewhere else and call it black market fence
and there you can place "a store" and there you can set your own prices and sell goods
you can also have a tab to buy goods and raw materials for a set price and a set number
*btw Kane kind of talked about this on vent
and maybe if you get a big enough store you can buy and auction house just for your store and set the price low and have a hidden reserve and let people bid on the item? this way we dont have a central auction house

it would centralize the selling and you could access your store through your house and you would still be able to sell out of your house

But if you could just access everybody's stuff there nobody would go around searching the houses anymore - which was what I loved about the market in EA.

Well, I guess houses could be for JUST storage, and we could have a shopping area, like a second house, but only for selling stuff. More complicated that way though =p

I was hopping by beginning Jason meant like the first week, not year, like before people have enough money to buy a house anyway... but yeah if it takes them a long time to get the houses in there we definitely need some way to sell pots/ammo ect to each other seeing as how you can't actually buy anything from npcs lol. The housing store situation also allowed sellers to really set their own prices because people didn't necessarily know if there were cheaper prices - unlike an auction house style setting where you have to be the cheapest to sell your stuff.

Who cares about houses but this would ruin a big part of the game.. I for one will not subscribe if something this big was changed to be honest.. Best part was the store/house system something like that changed would be like turning this into WoW..

Saying the change would turn EA into WoW is a little over dramatic because that's only one small aspect of WoW but it definitely wouldn't be EA anymore imo (I'm not humble).

How about you just create a underground city.. kind alike 4fs but 4fs was an underwater city I think. Make it like in a cave way way way way back in Black Market or CoA. Have houses in there... and sell from the houses.

We could make people pay to put their items on the centralized market because it would be right out there and could still sell from their houses for free.

Yeah...Jeffy has a point, if u want your items to be found easier, u have to pay the price :-P.
We should be allowed to pay to advertise a certain item, so when someone searches the item they get a house location. This still keeps the original house format, but you can find your items a lot quicker if the player has paid the initial advertising fee.
but just an idea :-P

ok we should just leave this the way it was
i think all they should add to BM is an NPC that maybe has a random list of expensive most likely overpriced good that is rare
and the items he has are random as time goes on
because a blackmarket one would think would have rare overpriced goods.

They should make houses the only way to sell stuff without actually being there selling stuff. As in you couldnt do as much as move when you "vend".
