Well after reading telos's latest post, i think it would be nice to expedite the thinking process of the lvl 14 ap rune gun.

sooooooo, place your ideas here, and hopefully telos or jason will see this and take some of the ideas to the shop, so to speak.

frogs may be good but only if you play them good. They may have really fast speed and are to hit but the speediness is a two way street. If your going fast it makes it harder for you to aim at the opponent. So technically its not too much of an advantage unless you wanna use the tactic *dodge untill they let their guard down or run out of ammo/pots*

Fast firing guns for the ap can come in handy but relating to my last paragraph if you cant aim then you cant hit and it doesent matter how fast the gun is.

On topic: i have a few ideas....

- Flob cannon
- Trine gun
- Trisk elite gun (and has mini wings to look cool)
- Baby malia bat gun
- Uber squish cannon (shoots a bloblic out the gun and it flies at them an squishes them or explodes?)
- Hairdryer

Well the quadune used to be the lvl 14 gun, but it was drop and kinda lame.

There are a couple of preexisting AP guns still not in game that could be reworked as guns between 12 and 16: ( I mean why not add a 13 and 15 level gun as well )

make a gun that fires a beam, the longer the beam is held to the target the more dmg it will do, and since no ones aim is good enough to hold it there, when the beam looses contact with the target the dmg is delt....

I don't think that would be very balanced for PvE, you'd kill rune bosses in like 10 seconds XD.

your thinking of making the dmg gain too high, like if you just tap it (single shot) does like 10 dmg, every second of extra dmg would do like 5 extra dmg, to a max of like 60-70

this sounds weak but it keeps the rune boss from dieing.....

Well heres my idea.
the 3D model isnt complete but im workin on it.
Name-Desicrator
Channel-Death
description-Fires a beam that will stay active as long as the trigger is held and anything touching the beam is damaged-the ultimated rapid fire wepon.
Damage-55 per second
Cons-Uses ammo so quickly that it is very expinsive to use-beam is heavy and while weilding it movment is limited

1. I'm trying to work the Majee Wands and Rods as magic crosshairs for all races
2. goldbott, your model does not suit a frog gun. It should be organic, possibly mob based.
3. Anything more rapidfire than .5 seconds would give the race with it a rather extreme advantage.
4. A 14 gun would definitely be rune, and not death. The Quadune is an obvious candidate, but not in the same way it was before.
5. There is definitely no way to make a holding beam such as that
6. Any new models will mostly likely require armaggeddon to return. Even if someone provided a model, it still needs animation. Scaling is also a problem without the original models.

An infant pidion would be fitting, being that the oafronack is a supposed hybrid between a dilirium and a pidion, but there's the problem of how one would hold it. There might be a possibility of something like a short gun with a half sphere at the end which holds the pidion. That would take a new model, so it's not going to happen. Or, if it's really small, as in a bit smaller than an aqualaz, it wouldn't be that difficult. Although it might look odd for a frog to aim like that.
A trine would work, since it would probably be held the same way that the oafronack is held. The eye could probably be about the size of the mouth of the oafronack, or a bit smaller so the middle isn't too wide. Eyemba would probably work too if we could get around the spikes on the sides. Or maybe Siltron...
I'm liking the trisk elite idea too (although it would have to be renamed. Infant trisk elite would mean that trisk elites are almost a separate race from ordinary trisks. I like to think of the trisk elite as what it is, an elite trisk.). It could probably attach to the wrist/hand and would probably look cool alongside infant crid wings.

Awww no DE gun...

But yea definitely 2 handed. Quadune wasn't very fun.
