Who wants an Event!! - Endless Ages

Ok so we want to know who wants an event this weekend.

so post your thoughts and vote Yes/No for an event.

the exact details of the Event will be released after we get a clear view of what we are going to do.

ANY Flaming or off topic posts will be deleted and poster issued an infraction.

The Living Quest:
a quest Using the GMs as the NPCs and bosses that drop the items needed to advance to the next stage of the quest, of which there will be a final Overlord to defeat to recive final Prize.

Capture the flag:
GM's VS Players
GM's Guard a "Flag" and Players must capture it and return to thier home base with it. the person that sucsessfuly captures and returns the flag to thier home base will win Prize

Name-Find the rat
Object-To find the item given to one of the players
Description-A GM will give one of the players a dropable item of some kind. No one but him knows he has it. The rest of the players must kill whoever has it to get it for themselves. Whoever has it at the end of the game wins.

The first one is pretty dumb IMO-I hate games where a bunch of people fight something and it's luck who gets the kill and who loots it :/. Doesn't sound like skill or team work is involved in any of those. clan based or team based CTF would be way better.

Working out the details now. This is what we have so far.

Will have to have an object, all races can wear and is visible. The flag will have to be something useless otherwise. A droppable item that is unique. (*have an item in mind but will need the devs to make it droppable*)

Will need defenders of the flag at least at first-after they are killed are to act as referees.

also - so that the item is visible at all times no ss, no vehicles and no familiars. Gonna have to walk it in and fight your way to the finish line. If you don't have it visible the entire way, you're DQ'd on the spot. Will have to trade it at the end to win which will be in a safe zone so you don't get pk'd.

OF course a version of this is being worked out for those who are not PK'able. Details will follow as they are made available.

Also trying to make it so that there will be other prizes given out -- still working on it so I won't even give clues.

Remember that none of this is in concrete yet-- but we are working on it.

We need a time.
And I think we need to start getting some events that the 11 and below can do.

Another event im going to miss too :P Hope everyone enjoys what the GMs are cooking up.

OK have the flag. YEAH - thank you Telos sir, it's fabulous.

CAPTURE THE FLAG
The location will be given closer to time of the event so that no one can set up a possible ambush for any flag carrier.

BULLETIN WILL BE POSTED HERE NO LATER THAN 5 PM EST.

The area we will be using will then be closed off to players at that time. With any luck this won't take long and maybe we can do it a time or two.

TIME- 6 pm EST we will begin. Please be in FOUR FALLS if you wish to compete.

There will be a character carrying a flag. This is an unmistakeable character. Once you kill this character and loot this item off of them, you MUST equip it and run to the finish line. Anyone who does not keep the flag visible at all times will not be eligible to win. PERIOD. There will be defenders -- at first. Once the defenders are all killed off it's up to the players to decide who delivers the flag to the finish line. (That's right-- kill to win and try to survive it)

Invisibility, hide, familiars, vehicles, and shapeshifting MAY NOT be used! Healing and damage magic are acceptable. You will be immediately disqualified upon using any of the above. The flag must be visible at all times.

NO ONE UNDER PK LEVEL IS ELIGIBLE-- DON'T TRY IT.

DO NOT BRING WHAT YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TO LOSE!!!! - there will be no replacing items if you lose them. You have been warned.

Now for those who are not yet PK'able there will be a spawn event for you held in four falls. The upper level players are asked to at least give the lower level players a chance to have some fun at the spawn event. There may be more mobs spawned later for the upper level ones if possible.

PRIZES-- As the winner of the CTF competition, you will win 1000 Sun heals and 500,000 in gold as well as your name posted as the winner of the event. The defenders will have objects on them to loot-- these items will give prizes as well. They include heals and gold as well.
