When it goes live..? preorders, we just download a client from the site and log in right? we dont need to buy some box copy or anything?

Yes, that would have to be the situation, but those first 100 orders get a boxed copy of the game after beta.

1) Download off of site (with subscription only/no sub. but cant log in?)
2) install
3)Open
4)(log in/open it with no sub and stair at the start screen?)
5)(play happily/still be stairing at the start screen?)
(Questions)
1)Will the box version be special in some way?
2)Will the downloader always be on the site forever while game is up + running?
3)Log in... Forums accounts?

Dude we DONT KNOW. All of us have little clue as any of what will happen. I suggest u sit and wait for jason to update us all on the situation rather than asking for people to post assumptions etc. Afterall im sure this update will come very soon

i say we send solodynasty on a first class trip to the 6th grade so he can learn to type in a less useless fashion and one more appropriate for the situation

Keep in mind many people out there (like me) are neither american nor english. Hence the weird sentences and the possible non-senses. My guess is that Solodynasty's mother tongue ain't english.

As for Oracle... he is just plain mad, that happens in our world, too

after those numbers are the actions that fit with them
(chat here/chat here) means im questioning what one we do...? is that hard?

My guess is the first 100 to sign up are going to be sent the FTP link to access the client, the link will be via e-mail, a mass e-mail to the 100. But I don't know if our accounts are going to be premaid or only our IP will register with the account creater infter face. Because all you would have to do to let your buddy who didn't pay for a subscription get in would be to send them the client or the link to the client..

I know Jason and his team are smarter then that though, so I couldn't say exactly how they are going to do that.

Yeah, sorry about my false assumptions, Solo, it's just that your post was... weirdly made... it was the steps i took a while to understand, lol... then again i was pretty stoned (lol @ the poor excuse, let's just say i'm a moron)

1) Will the box version be SPECIAL ? Are you kidding me ??! IT WILL BE ONE OF THE ONLY 100 BOXES !!! How isn't that SPESHUL enough ? ;-)

2)I've never seen any MMO game where you couldn't download the client from website at any point of its existence. Even though i can't say for sure, i'll dive in and say yes...

3)Since our account on forums reflects our Sub-ness (orange name), i'd say yes, too.

PS (EDIT) : Impact, i don't understand the issue you're talking about... why an IP restrict ? You use your account from wherever you want... you still need that account to play, and it can't be used by several people at once. Now who cares if it's you or your brother or your friend or your great-aunt playing ? (considering they would report bugs and test things and all, as you would, of course :-D)

edit 2 : yeah i think i just understood what was bothering you, and well, if we use our forums account to play... no problem (orange name = able to log on beta server, and later on, able to log in game)... now when open beta comes in... oh well, i'm starting to have a headache.
