I believe the moon should be showing up where you have that large white square. I know my graphics mess up now and then, and a restart of the game fixes them. Though i have never lost the moon. I suppose if you always have that problem it might be a something with your game files.

yep all the grafix of the game are messed up, the ground especially and also the water. ill post img's in a few mins

can someone tell me what the hell those signs are as well?

and deres the freaky ground which seems like a frikken wooden floor at times

i cant count how many times ive scrapped the files and reinstalled. at first i couldnt see anything! and i mean anything!

but then i replaced some of the files with files from ur post blegh and at last the textures were atleaste bearable

, but sadly then i noticed all the stuff posted above, i ignored it at first but now the white water is starting to hurt my eyes

and well i need a solution.

I end up with random triangular vectors appearing on my screen in a pyramid shape pointing towards my character from North East whenever I'm in third person view. It's quite annoying. The water is typically nonextistant, so I see fish flying low to the ground often. Whenever it becomes nighttime, lots of buildings and other flat surfaces become transparent from most angles, but when it's daytime they're fine.

Yes, the game is pretty screwed up, but I'm sure that all of it is being worked on as a priority. 4falls is the least buggy place I was able to find, and I think I'll stay there for a while.

yeah 4falls works best for me as well. all the graphics are well as they should be throughout the game. the water and the grounds fine there.

heh, well i ddont have any problems with textures at all...not even sure how that one could happen since the game automatically patches if your files are off(or tries to patch, most of the time it doesnt work).

Make sure you have installed 2.1 patch AFTER 2.0 installer. I strangly recall having this happen when I tried letting a former update (1.5 and 1.6 I believe) auto update with the normal installer. Also make sure you uninstall then go into your C: drive and make sure all the EA folders are delted. Then I would recomend restarting before installing 2.0 and 2.1
Also you got that blueish colored background behind quest which was from a different installer too. (Also recalled this happening)

EDIT:: also you have the double chat bar (Combat and Chat) Make sure you installed the correct ones :O
EDIT2:: Also it looks as if you have armor on but no resistance in the 8 channel system below ammo/jetpack bars

Those are the symbols behind the numbers in lower right that tell you your armor resistance
EDIT4...:: Your ESC menu is also old (From back a month or so ago atleast)
(2.0 and 2.1 patch)

umm i had to replace the fresh installs mainworldbeta02 with the one from blegh's post. i think that might be the problem. i also replaces earev.aii if that makes any difference in all of this as well?

so basically what i have done at the moment is scrap everything. fresh install of 2.0 den replaced all dem files (launcher, one file from maps models that i dont remember, earevolution.aii, mainworld_beta02.cab) den patch, and sadly its all still the same D=

i do believe someone needs to hit the computer with a mallet.
other than that, manually go down the list and see what files are there and what aren't and see which ones are corrupted. if you have reinstalled as many times as i think you have, this will be worth it.

i dont think this problem is related to the launcher file
i think it has summin to do with the earevolution.aii / MAINWORLD_BETA02.EXG files
and my strongest guess wud be that the mainworld beta file wud be the problem. if someone cuz upload their version of the mainworld_beta02.exg file or earevolution.aii file i could check and see which one is causing the problem.

You dont need to replace the exg, or aii files, its ur textures that are messed up ... need to replavce all txb files .

Also, are you using the same installers each time you uninstall and reinstall. Maybe you want to try redownloading the installer because the current one you are using may have gotten corrupt in the download.

does it annoy anyone else that there are item icons there for items that arent even in game, even tho theres models and what not for them. the kicker is the only recent GM post shows him working hard on a Witch hat model.....
