Trade Problems - Endless Ages

Yesterday, there was a little something that happened to a few players and I thought it might be best that I make a note for others.

Please be aware that when you trade items, do not have that item armed and try to trade it. Even if you have one JUST like it in your iventory. Do not have that item in your quickbar either.

EXAMPLE- you have an acid gun armed and you're going to trade an acid gun you already have in your inventory, disarm it before you trade or both guns may disappear along with whatever you're going to trade for.

Also make sure the other person's item shows up in trade before you click the confirm or offer button. If it doesn't, don't trade at all, it COULD cause a terrible glitch for not only your account but theirs as well. These items may or may not be replaced, depending on circumstances.

And for those who may try to trade items while still armed, a warning, this means that your account may become one of those which develops a nasty glitch I like to call "the black hole bug" --- Means that items disappear without rhyme nor reason and there is no getting it back. This is one bug that there is NO fix for. Items will NOT be replaced unless you have proof you had it to begin with. If is has to be researched to see if you had the item there, it may take a good deal of time before it can be discovered and still may not get replaced.

So be aware of these trading problems and also note that Telos the Wise, also known as Telos the Strange

Note that oogie made the world maybe Bold. I tested this with a kidion scroll with the kidion in my quickbar and it did nothing. so it might. it might not. but it is better to be safe then sorry..........

Uniequip and clear quickbar for trades.

well im dloading game right now im my qucik computer i played it on my laptop it didn't go so smooth only had enough time to beat the training but now im dloading so i hope it goes way faster and i hope i don't get a trade problem either

yes. I would suggest ZT. they are a great clan that will help you alot. Another one is FT tax collectors. But they are mostly a pvp/pk based clan.

Ohh, so this must be why I don't have the death polly I bought on trading post!!! Wow, Im speechless, this is absolutely unacceptable. Will not play this game until it's fixed. Please let us know the status on this.

Wow jinx, most folks can trade just fine if they don't trade equipped items.

Sorry, but their is something inherently wrong with this. And the fact that my D polly(payed real money for) just went poof! Well, at least now I know whats up with that.

man that must suck to lose a D-poly and never report it until it seems you might be able to get it for free, hate to say it JINX but it is a little fishy.

also before patch 2.1 i tried trading equipped items and items that were in my quick bar, it never let me it would say "trade completed" but all items would stay with the original owners, I never lost an item. This happened probably 100+ times but never had any ill effects.

Well, I have an account with one character on it, bought tokens on it and got a D polly, plus other items. I will give my info if needed so they can check the transaction. Payed with paypal, if they need a receipt, I'm sure I can find the past transaction in my bank account. It was not reported yet because I just got back from vacation three days ago. Before I went out of town, I logged that account and it was gone. I was thinking, maybe it was hacked? No way I thought the game had a bug that could take at random, items in your inventory. Then just yesterday I read this. Now I can't think of anyway it could disappear like that.
Trust me, Im not making an attempt to get a free item. I don't even care that much. But if in fact there is a bug that can do this. Well, all I know is that I wouldn't want to buy anything, or quest anything that could be lost for good. So yeah, I would say this would be a serious bug.

If it was an item lost due to a in game problem, I seem to trust people and give it back. Second, if you're missing an item from your vault - kind of doesn't affect this bug now does it? Now if you want to pm me the particulars and give me a username to maybe get items back to you, I am more than happy to help.

Otherwise, this is a matter that happened between all of about - THREE players. I put this up so that no one else would have this happen.

I appreciate your help with this bug. And I'm glad it's being addressed. But reading about this for the first time is like, I guess a bit disappointing. I wasn't trying to come off as a jerk about it. Just try to understand where I'm coming from. Also, I don't recall saying it was in my bank vualt.

Hi Jinx the problem as oogie stated above was with three player two of which was easy to fix . The third person was trading and noticed it and traded more items which lead to a big problem that took almost two days to fix . We have been able to fix the problem with the third person and have had no more reports of trouble and other players have not had a problem. This may have been a small hiccup and is still being looked into but oogie posted the day it happen due to not wanting more problems. When looking into a problem like this we decided to post a warning to players to try and keep any further trouble from happening.Jinx if you lost an item pm oogie with the details of what happened and what was lost and as she said your username and we will look into it.

I would like to thank the players that tested this and had no problems.
