hmm i finally got a working macro, only problem is that the game crashes every 20-25mins when i am trying to train ss or eng. Also i was looking for an ss macro partly because i seem to CI whenever i am shapshifted and attacking things.

hell i have all my old keytext macro's ill give ya.
KeyText: keyboard macro with Windows automation
download that, read the help thingy to learn how to use it.....
put in:
{loop}{Mouse L,-,-}{pause 6}{endloop}
and put the mouse over the shift button.
should work, if not PM me. if you can improve it, please post the improvement!!!

What are you talking about? You can always level shapeshifting by killing things while shapeshifted.

lol all i do i make sure my mouse is over shift and leave it but it never fails the game crashes after 20-25 minutes whenever i am using SS or engineering, i havent bothered to try the other trade skills yet.

Download KeyText (Too lazy to link myself, use Google), then put in the code posted on one of the tabs in KT. Set a HotKey, then use the hotkey to run the macro in game. Make sure you keep KT running.

O.o wow is it just me or does macroing seem to be kinda exploiting?
not to the point where it shouldnt be allowed, but i was surprised to see jason come out and say, he'd tell us how to actually use macros.. =P

no problem with tht just i would have never expected...and yea i agree with kane..its not hard

if u cant figure out how to macro then u shouldnt be allowed

Yes and No, once you Hit higher lvls the harder and harder it is to lvl up stats and Wep Techs (or MC)
So using macro's helps. before jason brought this Macroing was legal but not if you were not there when a GM came by and asked if you were Macroing AFK.

I believe that in the past, macroing was considered 'legal' unless it was for skills such as Piloting, Shapeshifting (by attacking, not focusing), Weapon Tech, Melee, or Mind Control. Basically, anything that involved attacking mobs to level.

Here are the rules for Endless Ages Reborn::

20. Players Rules of Conduct.

As in any game there are Rules by which all players must abide. These are here to enforce and level the playing field for all. These will also mark the boundaries of behavior for everyone.

There is no leniency to these Rules. If you break them, you could be reprimanded, temporarily or permanently banned. The violation of any one the following rules must be documented with a screenshot by either the player that is being accosted or by a GM and e-mailed to support@endless-ages.com.

1. Players must have mutual respect for all other players, GMs and Developers (Devs) both in game and on the forums.
2. Impersonation of game staff or developers will not be tolerated at any time.
3. No racism will be used against another player at anytime.
4. Spawn Killing Definition: Confining a player to an area by repeated killing of that player either by PKing with your person or pulling aggressive creatures into an area to kill a player repeatedly Plain and simple this is not allowed. To spawn kill is to harass and that will not be tolerated.
5. Exploiting No exploiting is allowed whether it is known by the Devs/GMs or not. Here is a list of some of the known exploits.

Breaking through the map and fighting creatures from the other side
Using Familiars to go through walls.
Breaking through walls/floors/ceilings etc. to pass a certain section of the map or portal. This also applies to enter homes.
Fighting creatures through houses/walls/under houses etc.
Using bugs in game to dupe items, money, etc. If this is known by any player it is their responsibility to report this to a GM or Dev right away.
Selling exploits to others
Blocking sections of the game/map from other players. This is considered harassment.
Getting creatures stuck in portions of the map where as the player can not get hurt, or no one else can find the creature.
Dragging agro mobs into safe zones, especially newbie zones and cities.

6. Posing as GMs or Developers This will not be tolerated at all.
7. Flaming If you are going to flame, keep it to the Flame Wars section on the forums. In doing this you must also keep the first 3 rules of the Players Rules of Conduct in mind.
8. Macroing There will be no public display of unattended macroing. If you are going to macro then you must find a good hiding spot or macro in your house. If you are seen macroing in the open by a GM or Dev you will be questioned for 10 minutes. If you do not respond within the 10 minutes of time you can be disconnected from the server. There will be no macroing of Magic in any city areas such as the banks, stores, public domains. This disrupts others game play and is not allowed. If you are caught running through a city while macroing Magic you can be told by a GM or Dev to stop or leave the area. If you do not comply with their instructions, you will be given a warning and then disconnected from the server. The continued violation of this rule will result in reprimands that are solely up to the Developers discretion.
9. Player Names If there is a player with profanity, racial terms, or anything else inappropriate in their name, they will be told that it has to change. Racism in names or speech is simply not acceptable. The GM or Dev will ask the player to log out of the game and PM a Dev their username and what they would like their new name to be.
10. Sexism will at not time ever be allowed.
11. Bashing of the games, the developers, or the support staff will at no time be tolerated.

When I shoot things It won't lv up my SS.
Ive been shooting slate for the past 120 times and not by .01% has my ss moved up and I'm lv 5 SS

1: Are you sure you're hitting? (Check COMBAT chat pane)
2: Slate, Brike, Dark Eyemba, and several other mobs were nerfed in giving EXP a while ago, due to certain concerns. Not sure if they've been returned to normal, but if they haven't, this could be the reason.

This isn't meant as a critisizm. However, it seems like people over react sometimes instead of changing things in small steps. Some mobs are hitting with extreme accuracy and it is difficult getting experience from mobs that was always available. So, if you are strugeling to get armor and at a low lev it is very frustrating. I know the DE and other creatures weren't hitting in beta however, it was not an easy creature to kill ever while wearing low nd armor and getting the needed drops for the 16 gun. It just dosn't make since to over nerf things that would give you experience while your questing them. Like doing your rune boses or killing the DE for the Spirit Stone. What would you suggest for ppl who need to get the wt or mc past lev 10. Maybe, I am not aware of what was going on, I use to run through the Rune Boses and DE for experince in Gold and booster and it still took a good amount of time I wouldn't say it was easy. If this is a problem then maybe you should go to questing for experience. When you do a quest for a certain gun you get the experience to use it etc.

Some of us have to work and get on to do something in a short block of time, so it is frustrating when things are broke and you find your self stuck in limbo.

I have an ACTool shapeshifting macro that I use every night, and it works! Only requires 2 things:

1. A shapeshifting orb that allows you to jump (Sarin, DB, Ean, etc. almost all of them do).

2. A key set to jump where you can put something on it (heavy objects like rocks or something, idk become creative xD) or tape it down. I use my numpad enter key, easiest to tape down ^_^.

*TIPS*

- Be sure you are in windowed mode. This won't work in full-screen.

- This was meant for 1280 x 1024 resolution. I don't know if others will work because I never tried them.

- ACTool is a macro creation program.

- To stop this macro, alt-tab to the ACTool window and quickly press stop before your mouse is sent back to the coordinates located on the macro. An alternative is to set a stop macro hotkey in the ACTool settings.

- EA stands for Endless Ages (this game).

- Shapeshifting window is the window that pops up after you use the orb.

- All download links are at the bottom

How to use the macro

1. Download ACTool and run it.

2. Open my macro (wherever you placed it).

3. Start EA.

4. Set your shapeshifting quickbar slot hotkey to the space key. So if you have an orb in the 1st slot on your quickbar at the bottom, go to preferences and set the quickbar slot to the space key.

5. Shapeshift into your orb in a place where you can jump (safe zone definitely recommended).

6. Press the ESC (escape) key. This will keep your mouse in the same spot after the shapeshifting window closes by keeping the main menu up on the side.

7. Start the macro (Start button on ACTool that has a lightning bolt on it, located in the bottom right corner of the ACTool window).

8. Click once in the EA window after you start the macro. Your mouse is automatically placed on the EA window so all you have to do is click to get back into the EA window.

9. Move your EA cursor over the shift button in the shapeshifting window.

10. Congratulations! You are shapeshift macroing!

You guys use to advanced stuff..for someone just joining, making a Macro Schedular and inputting 1 little copy/paste into the edit screen then hitting run..its so easy

just ask LordOfWar hes the one who gave it too me. and if u really need a UBER easy macro program just addme on msn..(check profile) and il send u the command list.
