Just installed the game and used the patch on the site. Deleted the cab files i was told to but i dont see any servers when i start the game... so just wanted to know if im having a problem or is the servers down?

The server is up and running. Try looking at some other threads for links to updated game files that you might not have.

People want to play, not randomly browse forums for hints and tricks that may or may not work. Maybe one of the many Mods with their leet yellow names can consolidate all helpful threads in one section?

i have the same problem as whatshisface(it doesnt show servers). i dont know what to do about it. help

Have you tried the troubleshooting tips listed in the Help & Support section of the forums?
