I was thinking today, and no for the record I didn't set off my smoke detectors, that we need to maybe schedule the events for different times and days. The reason? School! Everyone is either going to or has someone who is going. So for this I was thinking of a way to allow for EA and not cut into this.

I would LOVE to have some player imput on this one so that we can accomodate the greatest number of players. This is where you guys are key, so please.... Help make this possible...

yea it is something that would be extremely nice but due to the fact of being played on most of the world the time zones realy mess with your playing times....that being said i think the majority of the players are in the US if im wrong i WILL change it asap...

lets see if my memory serves we used to do events at either 7 or 8 back when and for the most part it worked out it gave the 4 hours needed so that across the US could be in it assumeing the useall schools out at 3 and home by 4 in the westend..(the game still centered on the east or am i thinkin on another game...)..and still being able to have most kids still up around that time.. a downside was that they loved to put the events on the week days so if you do them on weekends or fridays that solves that problem nicly

How about just schedule it on Saturdays. Maybe take a survey to see how many people are in each time zone.

Put up a poll, see who's in what time zone, assuming the time zone has more than a few players, put it into another group. Like say there was only 3 people in the England area, with like 10 EST, and like 5 PST, make the time be like 3 PM EST on a Saturday so it's only (I think) 9 PM Sat night for the English, mid afternoon for the EST/CST people, and noon for the PST people.

Saturday would probably be the best day though, because then at the very least everyone can spend all night awake because the next day is Sunday and almost no one has to go to work/school the next day.

OT: damn I suck at typing when my wrists are off the laptop...
