Heal guns don't work last time I checked, healing done to another player is reduced by protection.

Yea the bug with heal guns is known. That would add an aspect to a team event but for now this is a single type fight. the heal gun can be used on a naked player to bring them to top health after death though.I was thinking a small old type arena fight limited to 3 at a time.

yea i just saw this... one problem with tell ur lvl... 1 noob 2 moderate 3 been in a fight or two then 4 loves to PK... well theres some of us who love to PK but are not at the PK lvl... like me, i barley have time to play... im lvl 13 with 13-15 armor no death gun or anything but i wwould say im in the 4 bracket... but i would rather fight in the 3 bracket because i dont have full 15 and my death gun... i would not last in the 4th bracket... so any way we can redo that?

WHERE: Four falls crypts- room with the big hole.

WHEN: 6 pm PST

WHAT: PVP Tourney-- players will be given a choice.

Participate in a THUNDERDOME- what you bring, you fight with. Last man standing.

OR

Participate in a match where you face an opponent until the final match. No splash weapons, few heals. New to PVP level, moderate pvp level and Expert (PK TIL I DIE level). No Death weapons, ss orbs or magic.

YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN BOTH TYPES.

Prizes will be announced before the beginning of the event.

There were only the top 3 that got it, and they got an orb of their choosing. There was a conversation about Race orbs though, so it's possible they may be given one.

yea a orb of ur choise is a good prize for a quick pvp tourny match. BUT i dont think race orbs should be given away once they r released....they r awesome orbs tht should be worked for....not just taking 30 seconds to kill some lv 13 noob owelp just my opinion.

Thanks Oogie and all GMs and helpers (Vis) for the events ! That was a little chaotic but still very cool... and i'm not saying this because i TOTALLY PWND IN MY 11 ARMOR *cough, sorry*, no really it was very cool.

About the body check at the entrance, people need to be clearly separated at all times : let them gather in the tomb room (or inside the tomb, first hole for instance, but it has to leave the tunnel before trunor's room clear). At that point, any people going down inside would be shot down.

Call them inside the Trunor room *one by one*, let them rebirth in the entrance of the room, kill them at the opposite side, check body, let them loot what's allowed. Now make them proceed to the "arena" room. At that point, entering back in Trunor's room = disqualification / killing.
Voila. The point is to never ever let a frisked person be near an unfrisked person.

Anyway, there apparently were no cheaters in this event, so that didn't really matter this time :-)

Thanks to all the players that attended this event. Yes it was chaotic at times but that was because some of the players did not listen to what we were asking them to do. Remember this was our 1st pvp and we learned some lessons from this and will have more.

We already have some new ideas that we are working on to make this type of event better. looking forward to the next one.

Hopefully, one day, you can have an event tournament area that is only accessible when GM's use a certain code, where once you enter all potions (or other illegal items) are confiscated to your bank when you enter a doorway. Then, you enter another doorway where you are given potions automatically for the tourney and your Rebirth is automatically set. Once the tournament is over, your Rebirth is set to where you manually set it last. Also, maybe you could have circles, where you enter a specific room (say, a circle for spectators, matches, and thunder dome. The GM's can see who is in the teleported area. There would be a room where spectators could watch from but not interfere). I understand this would be the last thing on the To-Do list though .
