I am a very patient old man but I tell ya, The mobs having aimbot and hitting way into tunnels, having hp that is off the charts, mobbing ya at every portal , along with game crashes has almost made me throw up my hands and quit so I know if I am ready to and I have made 10 chars in old game being able to solo the game, the new players are. I think Graphics is bottom of the priority list. These things and others need fixed. Game is almost non-playable.

Oh and any suggestions on Cain? I have used all guns, Rune Bow, HS, Nerv, Sarin, DB, and nothing hits hard or fast enough to kill him before he despawns. Appreciate some info on killing him. Shot him for quite a while with sarin before he despawned.

We'll increase the time he's spawned a lot to make it so he dont despawn so fast.

Also, if you can make an accurate list of what is making the game so un-playable for yeh, we'll see what we can do to make the game more fun for you, and others.

Well, here's a list for me...

Crashes to Desktop:
-Equipping something
-Switching from 1st person to 3rd person
-Occasionally even just chatting
-Numerous random ones

Connection Interruptions:
-Dying while meleeing
-Random ones

General:
-Ever since the water was added over 90% of the main world I get single digit FPS
-Lighting needs to be fixed, nearly impossible to kill some mobs in pitch black

If I were in charge, the water issue would be priority one. Why make the game's minimum requirements so high for aesthetics? In any case, I really should be able to run the game with no problem anyway, as any other time I'm at 60FPS.

Working on the crashes would be next, only because reverting the water (should be) is very easy.

The rest should just be done ASAP, as long as the above two are fixed.



Lesser (Can work around) issues:
-SS bugs, stats and firing through everything specifically
-Melee enemies attack speed (Seems some ranged too, took 3 hits from a Dark Jouster in BM today in approximately one twelfth of a second...then I was dead...then I was in a graveyard)
-Not enough weapons, need more variety, I prefer the rapid fire not as hard hitting weapons, while a friend of mine would definitely prefer the fire once every minute for a billion damage guns.

Did something happen when the game was bought? I don't remember any of these bugs from when I played when it was still at MMOLANDS.com. Might just be my memory fading me, though. :\

its only unplayable for ignorant snobs like you. I could give less of a damn about the graphics even if they were anything like runescape. I only play it for the gameplay. So yeah if u think its so "non-playable" then just gtfo or stop whining.

The MMO Lands version of the server was not available for purchase unfortunately (it was lost in the whole RR situation)

That sucks, but hey the code you acquired is really amazing. its almost like exactly the same as the old one! With a few bug fixes and map adds, this game WILL be the old one xD (just without subscription fee)

The graphics aren't what make it unplayable, if you had any reading comprehension skills you'd realize that the only reason I make it priority one is because it's a simple fix that'd take all of ten seconds to revert to. The constant crashes and connection interruptions are what make it unplayable, though I guess this arguement, for lack of a better word (would debacle apply?), is what I get for thinking people would absorb what I posted. No matter, either the game will be playable or it won't, and as of now it's not. That's all that matters in this discussion.

Myself and others were making a valid statement and one that all have experienced and not as a slam but as a note to things needing fixed. You obviously haven't made it that far so please sit down, play with your dolls and hush. I am 54 years old and have made more max chars in this game than you have played with, so I don't need a snotty nose kid talking to me that way.

Thank you Jason for the assisatnce. I have posted things in the bugs section as I went along. I know things are being worked and I am sure they all will be worked out no doubt. Just pointing out the things that are immediately effecting game play. Thanks again for your help....

The lighting in caves would be nice. Very hard to see anything unless I spam my Acid gun to see where I am... But that doesn't even help.

0_0 it may be unplayable for you and a few other people but the majority of players hardly have any issues playing.

I have 4 computers EA is installed on and I can play for hours on end without crashing, CI'ing etc..

You must have a terrible internet connection and PC or something.

I understand there is many bugs still to be fixed, and we are working on them as fast as we can. We have a very small (but very dedicated) development team and are working out butts off.

Hey Jason, you don't even need to worry here. I play on a Vista machine and play fine. The only thing that really needs work is dynamic lighting in indoor area's.

I'm sorry if I'm mistaken but the message I'm getting here is basically "You're screwed, and there's nothing we can do." Seems to me that more than just a 'few' people are having issues, every time I log in I read in chat that someone crashed, CI'd, or has some other issue. I don't get how you can say 'a few' people are having issues. We've gone over my specs numerous times, I don't have a terrible PC and my internet connection is just fine. EA is the only program I have trouble with and all of my friends that're playing have the same damn issues. Their PCs range from utter garbage to just about top of the line, and have DSL or faster internet. I hardly think it's their computers and/or internet connection.

If these issues aren't going to/can't be fixed, that's really a shame because I do love the game, but I'll have to live without. In any case, I gotta go to work so the rest of my rant will have to wait.

The water is a graphic card issue. If you have a bad graphics card it won't work well. The water uses some effects that older cards might not have.

I crash constantly especially using SS but I have vista so may be it.
And the reason we can't report and get the bugs out is because some people , trying to make themselves look leet or are natural born butt kissers, keep butting in. Cain lasts maybe 15 minutes and has 50 K hP. No I know he is not soloable.. but a fighting chance would be nice... btw You get him yet?
No wonder we can't get anywhere on getting the game right, because people are too ignorant to work with the team and indentify things and fix them. That is the very thing that destroyed the game before, No one would listen and the handful of LEETS or so they think, always stopped things from getting fixed. I was just running full speed in an ean thru cats just now and a Shar killed me??? Okie dokie LOL I may end up not playing over time which I am sure is no big deal, but just remember , so will many others. Can the game survive on you 4 or 5 that think it is OK? I am done now.. Personally I do not experience many crashes, even with a 64 MB video card, 256 MB of RAM, and a P4 2.4 GHz processor. Just quite a bit of FPS laggage at times.

i agree.

i thnk that the main priority is lighting and fog. mabye maps too.

but what i would really appreciate is a life bar of some kind for mobs even if its just a red line . so i know when things are gonna die so im not killing a D with not knowing when its gonna die.

Well then, I have ran through most of these comments including yours to Jason. Their are a few things I must point out, To start first on is Jason Does not post in the forums very often besides on business, simply because he has a life, and is working on the game, keep that in mind.
-Second Jason asked for a simple list of troubles you all are having so he can check them out and fix or give advice on how to get past them, did not ask for crying, flaming, or insults lets be mature people.
-Third Jason has stated a number of time's on improvement;s Bigs > Game play > then lighting effects. Yes It is hard to see mobs when its dark or in cave's, I am sorry but I enjoy it, Their are a few ways around this the main one is A: Flare Gun. It is dark and does need to be brightened up a notch, but the point of this game is to make it where you have to do everything.
-And Finally Yes you need a partner for cain just that simple, if your doing that armor quest, Then you should know a few people by now ask for help. Lets be mature people no need for fighting, or flaming.

Oh I am sorry Dalhn I just saw your post, You can find map's of endlessages on the fan cites linked on the page, and as far as Mob Health bar, who knows. The team is still working on the new Interface, so who knows what to expect =p
