My computer hates EA... Just recently, at my dads house, I opened EA and started to play. I was messing around and randomly I got a blue screen With some sentances and random words and said "Dumping memory onto a disk (percent complete)"
I was thinking WTF happened... I did some cleaning and other things with my computer and the blue screen stoped happening (Or so I hope) but whenever I open up EA the patcher loads and I click the Next button and the game opens. I see the little bar at the top so I knew the game was working. A few seconds later all of a sudden my whole screen went black and apeared as if the computer was off but it was still running. I shut it off and shrugged. I then tried again and it happened...Over and over this happened until I said screw this imma ask on the forums. So does anyone know wtf is happening and/or know how to fix this cause EA is my entertaining game and without being able to play im at a loss right now . Please help people.

Also the chatbox never gets done saying 'loading...' and I cant edit posts the wheel just keeps spinning WTF IS HAPPENING

LOL if you got a blue screen you weren't just randomly messing around. If you don't remember what it was you did to **** it up, I'd recommend you do a system restore. Sounds like you ****ed up your computer with your "randon messing around".

There are plenty of How To Guides on teh intarwebz to teach how to configure your computer if you need halp.

And before u do that,.. try running the game windowed or full screen,.. what ever u didn't try yet

I meen I was randomly screwing around in game not with my comp... I was just hanging around BC and BAMM!!

hmm..if this blue screen is what i had b4 ..then this is what a friend told me , Something about your computer only running mp3'd ( forgot what he said ) and the computer is trying to load in mp4's....it causes a blue screen, i belive that all he did was system update from microsoft and it fixed the problem for good

Theres no more blue screen.. that was just temporary I guess but now whenever I start EA the comp acts wierd and turns off like the screen goes black and the monitor power light switches from green to orange and keeps doing that like its off but I have to hold the power button to turn off the computer. This doesnt happen when I use the internet or anything but I cant do anything atm...I cant see the Chatbox and when I post/edit stuff the little wheel never stops spinning. The computer never remembers why name/password even when I click the box "[] Remember me?" Hopefully I can get this fixed soon guys. I looking at replacing the motherboard but I don't know anymore.

hmmm that's really odd. Last time something like that happened to me was when I didn't have a jumper on properly and my MB gave it's siren sound to tell me I ****ed up majorly.

Your screen resolution is set to high, try a lower resolution like 1024x768 and let us know what happens.

Umm... Jason... Thats what it is set at. My comp was running un normally on just about everything so I wiped it,reinstalled XP and all that and there was something that wasnt installing and was apparently broken so I bought a new motherboard today and hopefully it will fix the error and work properly. If the motherboard doesnt fix the problem than I dont know... BTW I basicly cant use my comp right now so I'm on my brothers comp and ill get in game soon enough :P.

blue screens are set to tell you something is wrong and warn you to manually do a shutdown before more damage happens. I have provided a link to help you because this will probably happen to you again in the near future. Do a FULL BACKUP asap in case the system shuts down completely and you loose everything.
