magic lvling - Endless Ages

I just got to lvl 2 in mogic and soi far ive spent over four hours and 2000 poizen herbs trying for lvl 3 and im only on 32% anyone got any ideas of how to raise the lvl faster or will i need another 2500 herbs?

Magic is a big money and time sink to level, and there is no shortcut to make it level faster (like hitting mobs or something). I think the majority of people use the following guideline:

Use the highest circle scroll you can without failing, and spam it until you can use the next circle of scrolls without failing.

Just pick the scroll with the lowest reagent cost to save money for each level.

And yes you will need another 2500 herbs.

Level to 3 using the first heal scroll.

Waiting until you don't fail is not the fastest way to level at all, by the time you don't fail at the next rank of spells you get .01-.04 from the previous rank depending on your level, while then next rank can give .15-.3 making failing most of the time still faster than always succeeding on the lower spell.

Blobz is right but wrong...It gives more experience if you use your leveled stuff but sometimes you can fail 10+ times at your own level so it depends on how many times you fail.

I'm not wrong, I didn't say use a lvl 5 spell as soon as you hit lvl 5, I said don't wait until you're maxed. I usually use minor heal to 3.3-3.5, meteor to 5.3.-.5.5, gas to 7.3-7.5, invis to 9.3-9.5.
