well i have had a few more ideas and i discussed them with eclipse... then decided to post them here

i seem to think atm the tp is ruining the game with some of the items in it. for example the bl armor and the arc farion weapons. They should be quested and not buyable. Why have the chalis quested or netty quested but not arc farion. Same goes with the 11-13 aq's.

Poly bikes and any vehicle also should be quested. What i think should be put in the tp for polys is maybe some kind of colour changer so you can choose the colour. Or maybe even a choice of enhancers for the polybike like abilty to teleport a short distance instantly but its only useable every 20 seconds. Or even some kinda cool frame for it to make it look different like rather than a circular one you could have it as a sphere frame to make it look different... i dont know but they shouldnt be only in the tp. Maybe they could make a new poly bike that is either really fast and burns the booster really fast or one that teleports taking chunks out the booster...

Jetpacks. I think you could be pretty imaginitive with this. I would love for there to be ankle jets where there are a jet pack attatched to each ankle.. that would be cool. There is so much possibility for this

Customisables.

well this is the main thing i think you could add into the tp. i think lots of the gm items could be added. here are my ideas:

the tennis skirt (this would be awesome on a blob haha)
devil horns (sexy hf seductress devil girl anyone? or is this just me thinking about it)

well those are the gm items i think they could add and now for other items

Fairy/devil/pixie/dragon wings (only work when you dont have a jp on for when you are messing around)
Bunny ears (can mess around with size... Big fluffy bunny ears on a frog that are as big as him lol!)
Bunny tail (little blob fluffy thing put on a BL would be so cute on the scariest arnold schwartznegger youve ever seen)
Fox tail (part frog part fox haha)
Mini skirt for blobs
Wedding dress (could go over your armor so you pvp a blob in a wedding dress... blobs suck at pvp but people would die laughing and not be able to pvp so this may even things out)
BL afro (froggeh with afro or crazy 80's HM dance floor champion... sooo retro!)
Clown feet/bunny feet
Beer drinkers hat?
So many things feel free to add ideas

oooh umbrella vehicle! (sorry just a random idea came to me)

Also i think here could be a big money maker

FURNITURE.
now im sure anyone who has been in or owned a house in ea will agree it looks totally boring just the house with no decorations.
welll i thought you could have like chairs and tables and sofas and beds etc would be pretty cool. they could also have like washing machines and stuff
furniture would be an inventory item and you could organise where you put it and it be a lootable item so if you put it down wrong you can move it but other people cant move it unless you put it in their house. Orrrrr they could agree to it before you add it maybe and they MUST agree so people cant spam their house with tables.
Another cool thing with furniture is you could have picture frames in the house with pictures of your characters that you upload maybe but you would need a system for it. You could even design your own animation and put it on a item that is a computer monitor item and have it continually play.
Maybe there could be design your own items event for this and they choose the best ones for each category on which would be suitable

Design your own bed:
chompy wins! as he is an expert when it comes to beds
Design your own sofa:
chompy wins! as he is a couch potato

and so on

i just thought it would be fun to decorate my castle to be so it wouldnt be so boring in there

They dont currently have n active texture artist/modeler right now. They cant make anything new for the game right now.

These kinds of ideas are great. They have been proposed before and the devs have already addessed why these things simply cant be added right now. Things like you are talking about would take *months* to create and get in the game even with an active texture artist/modeler.

I also simply do not agree with the proposition that having blob armor or a level 17 gun in the TP ruins anything. It just does not matter that the highest level wepaons and armor are purchacable insted of questable. You stil have to earn the skill to use them and telos is going to implement a system where you cant use the items until you have your 15 emblem.

At the point people can buy and use these items currently the game play is simply assisting others and PVP. Its helping clannies and hunting other clans and stuff like that. Thats it. There is nothing there to Ruin..

There may well be a new complex quest or dungeon put in the game at some point to have these items but that is months away at best.

More Importantly

The game has to be financially supported. People are not buying the current items in quantities that support the servers. Something has to be put there that that people will buy that does not take a texture artist/modeler to create.

There simply is no other alternative at this time that i can see. plus it simply does not ruin the game. wether someone hunted bloodthorn for a week or saved the money to buy it in a week makes absolutely no difference on the outcome in the game. The person has the armor.

*sigh* i dont even know why i bother -.- never mind then... cast my ideas aside my ideas always seem to suck as someone always picks a hole in them or complains about it :S i guess ill leave coming up with ideas to people who are listened to. Sorry to cause such an inconvenience for you ea team

Killjoy your ideas are awesome.

In a perfect setup they would be exactly what the game needs and exactly the kinds of items the TP should have.

I was simply telling you the hard cold facts that the devs have shared in previous similar posts.

Heck I want various levels of "membership" with specific advantages for buying it and an Arena Island. But that just aint gonna happen either. We are stuck with the system we have which is imo not ruining the game. Maybe someday they will get an investor with some capital to fund a full development team and get this thing done the way we all want it.

they may not have a texture designer/modeller and i dont know if they are even trying to find one at the moment but the community is filled with quite a few older people and they may have the experience to fill a position... I havent seen them ask anyone in the community if they would like to join the team by being a modeller or whatever and i suggest they do. I have a few books at home and i could learn as right now i have lots of time on my hands.

But its their choice like its their choice if they want to follow my ideas... i dont exactly have any effect on what they do so eh

armageddon is there texture artist modeler. But he is to bussy to work on the game currently.

I think they should ask this community and the FPS communiity for some voluteers. Any work on a game like this will look good in a portfollio.
