green tags
blue = neutral
red = murderer
green = vigilante
reds and greens could fight in safe zonez but blues cant attack reds or greens in SZ , if you wanna kill reds in SZ you have to kill 8 reds outside SZ first to become green. perfect fairness on all sides
oh and greens would also get attacked by guards and cant use some shops, vigilante = against the law :P
going green could work exactly the same as how going red worked.. if red attacks blue first but blue wins it dont count towards goin green cos it wasnt an intentional vigilante kill.. so if dont wanna go green dont shoot reds  until they shoot you

I'm not sure I agree on the guards hunting them, since technically they are "helping" the guards. Plus normally its harder to kill a red (Supposedly an experienced pk) then for a red to kill a generic blue(Could be a noob) In addition to that a person could go green simply defending themselves then no longer be able to go into town... Though I do agree there should be something to balance it on that side. Example npcs in the underworld that don't normally attack people, maybe guards in bm and ft?

thats a very good point on the person going green for defending himself there, yeh this idea would need a lot more thaught i think, it could work though but it would probably take a lot more work to do than i originaly thaught, it seemed like a simple addition to me at first

figured out how to fix the not wanting to go green problem

Reds are murderers, they should be punished. I think the SZ are way too easy on reds already. Or if you prefer just throw the murder system out so we don't gotta hear reds whinning about how unfair everyone treates them in SZ.

the green idea sounds good.. but i dont like how kane said turning it off.. but the guards attacking them and stuff is cool coz they are illegally taking law into their hands.. but if you could turn it of thats like say lets be able 2 turn being red off..

why couldnt greens be part of a society anymore? i was red and that didnt stop me hanging around chatting, no matter what tag you have you can still do the same stuff.. only with more care.. if someone gets killed afk its tough **** for them imo they should have found a safe spot to hide first. how anyone can complain that they died when they wasnt there is beyiond me.. wtf do they expect? AI to take over and fight for em? lol
there is one thing il mention though your own house on EA should be a SZ weather you are red or blue... or green if it happened lol

Greens should not have the restrictions Reds do. It just doesn't make sense...
Reds= Are killers, that cause trouble, disrupt quests, so on so on.
Greens= WOULD be, protectors of the weak who cant deffend them selfs, or are to low lvl to defend them selfs.
This would be cool to set up as a faction war. You got your
Criminals (reds) you have your people that want to stay out of the conflict (blues) and you have your protectors, heros, and all around good guys (greens or a better coolor)
Blues= have no real advantages or disadvantages over reds other then not being killed by mobs guards so on.
Reds= would pay a price as they do now, being killed by guards, blues (greens if this was put into the game), and mobs. They would have some advantages though such as their own city that only criminals can use, however they can kill each other inside it and invading blues or greens.
Greens= would not be killed by guards or mobs in blue territory or green territory, and they wouldn't be able to kill each other in their cities or spaces. They could have other advantages and disadvantages..

I still don't understand what problem people have with the current system. I mean if its sooo cool to be red then deal with being treated like a criminal. If you make it so easy to be red then every noob will turn red as soon as they're lvl12, because all the cool people are red. Why complicate the current system so much with stupid green tags that would basically punish people for killing criminals. You might as well throw the whole murder system out and everyone can kill and loot each other without penalty. I rather have no reds then to here all the wanna pkers whine about how unfair the system is.

I know I've said this before, but I'll repeat my opinion here. To be red should be sooo harsh that only the most elite maxed chars should be able to handle it. I mean come on, think about it logically and not about how it's going to affect you. I only see pkers in this thread talking about how to make life easier on themselves and not how it would actually improve the game. No offense intended but many of the things that have been tweaked and sucted, were from the elite few who could get the devs' to listen to them because they were GMs. Almost all were from the same clan and most were also pkers. If you really care about this game for the long haul then think about keeping it playable for the noobs too. I've seen countless people just give up on this game because once they get raped and looted in FT XXtimes they were disscouraged and quit. There needs to be balance so that the population stays strong and FT isn't a ghost town like before.

FT wasnt a ghost town... it was one of busyest places on game... and definatly the most fun place to hang out. what makes me laugh is how blues complain about being killed by reds in FT when theres a damn SZ there that dont work for reds... blues have the advantage in FT all they gotta do is run to SZ then call for backup or even ss into ean on SZ and just leg it out of FT. but some just used to sit on SZ and whine complain and call the reds names which makes things personal thus making things worse for themselves.PK is what EA is about regardless of if you are a PKer or not of you not a PKer you gotta learn how to escape or fight back good just because someone is not a PKer doesnt mean they are expected to have no skill, thats why i thaught of the green idea foir people who have skill at PKing but dont wanna kill blues, blues can attack reds but there is no reward or anything in it, at least if there was greens there could be some kind of struture to it.. i dont get it i was actualy thinking for the benefit of non PKers when i came up with that idea back when i was a noob blue and wanted killing reds to be more appealing
it seems to me that you dislike reds that much you want the game to be less fun for them and to be honest i think thats sux

Its just that if everybody turns red, whats the point of even having red tags? I like to PvP but really if this game is ALL about PKing then why even have a murder system to punish people? Again I'll stand my ground that balance is more important then the hand full of PKers fun in game. I always wanted to go red someday, but the only people that were worth killing were reds. I never heard anyone cry and whine about being spawn raped more in FT then most PKers once you'd kill them and kill them again and again. Seems to be an age thing. I just think reds should be a small elite part of population. If you go red and aren't elite, then you will prolly regret it and go blue till you are hardcore enough to handle it. Things should be different with everyone starting from scratch, no more pop-up pkers. People are going to have to earn everything they get, that should weed a few PKers outta the picture. I can't wait to see the people racing thru quests and finding drops, thats what I'll be doing what everyone else is gonna do is up to them.

the reson most peeps were red in last few months of Ea was because it became perma red and people just like killing each other so they ended up going red like i did, there isnt things people should and shouldnt do they just do what they enjoy and if most people go red its because they enjoy killing people, it makes no sense saying PKers should be a small part of the population, to get less reds you would need to make it easier to work murders off.. think about it. you just dont like being PKed.. nobody likes being Pked but you just gotta grit your teeth think revenge ,practice and learnt to defend yourself. you sead you wanted to go red at some point but didnt wanna kill blues... that was what the green idea is all about that you dissagreed with it gives you the experience of being like a red but you kill the reds..thats the whole point of my idea, same dissadvantages but you kill reds instead of blues, its not complicated.

but gussin its you who wants less reds and for less reds would mean more people getting away with murder... your making no sense.. making it harder that it already is for reds is NOT going to stop people doing what they have fun doing which is killing each other. the game is already harder for reds than blues, they already have dissadvantages.. i just dont understand you views they make no sense to me.. blues only have to wory about PKers... PKers have to wory about PKers/agro mobs/guards and having no safe zones oh and being safe zone sniped... why dont you try going red and then say they should have more dissadvantage.

Main problem here seems to be that people who basicly only played in the system where the guards were shut off and red was a perma thing.
Back in gold being red would be a bad idea because BC, AP and HC had active guards... but at the end,.. heck even I was red
I do like the idea of that soullight idea or whatever... if u kill enough evil creatures ur karma goes up so high accidently killing someone isn't THAT bad,..
I always hated shooting red's all day (even if it was from sz,.. MOWHAAHA) and accidently hitting a blue which would make me red... I never thought it was fair but that's how the system worked and it worked fine that way..
I agree with gus, why change something that worked fine, imo red tags shouldn't whine about the sz deal either but i've been saying that for years.

Red = like always
blue = like always
green = after killing 8 or more reds (anywhere) you go green.. and if you attack a red in a sz then the red can kill you back.. nothing else changed.. but a red cannot attack the green first in sz. may seem like its unfair n crap.. but wot about the blue ppl you cant even defend yourself against them in a sz.. so letting a green person hav the first shot doesnt really matter compared 2 blues does it? also if a green kills a blue then they automatically go red themself no matter if they killed 100 reds they go red. because they r sposed 2 be the heros and they turned evil.

i agree that is was fine as is was too moomin, i think reds should be able to get attacked in safe zone by by blues ( only not blues if green idea how i explained was implemented ) i seriously dont recal any reds saying they shouldnt be able to be attacked in SZ (exept the noobs who found the non sz spot under bt and went red then regreted it), if someone got sz sniped they would just tell them they are KoS and argue a bit but thats different from saying reds shouldnt be able to be attaked in sz. it was fine as it was and i would be more than happy if it stayed the same way but gus is saying it should be even more difficult for reds and moo you know yourself it isnt easy being a red and it wont be esspecialy since we will be needing to go to race cities a lot more often as in booster. im just saying it shouldnt be made even harder for reds than it already is. if someone sz sniped me o/c i would say ok you pos you r kos you bastage! theres nowt wrong with that its only natural to get anoyed when you cant fight back it can be frustrating,just like when people moan when being pked.. but most people get over it after a couple mins. but the thing is at least blues can fight back thats why i dont see why blues complain about reds having it too easy when its a fact they dont have it easy.
