EA and new players? - Endless Ages

Just wondering if there's any advertising out there currently? From everyone I have seen I am the only one that plays this game that hasn't played it previously. How did I find out? From a friend that tried it years ago. I think more than optional memberships and all that we need new players, not exactly brain surgery to understand that either. Is there a public relations type person, or is it just word of mouth? I can hear the "players need to support the game by advertising". So I have to spend my cash AND advertise for them? Is this a reverse job? I have to pay them for my time? Honestly we know very few if anyone will do this unless they are getting something in return.

Flame me, burn whats left of my remains, or discuss. Whatever you feel is right.

Welcome to Endless ages yes your right there is not much PR right now . Dont quote me on this but I believe the current move is to polish the game in it's current state before a big push on marketing goes into effect.
As for the word of mouth advertising we are glad that the players tell there friends to try the game

The game is free to play so you do not have to give your cash to the game. You can show your support by buying items from the trading post to help keep the game going for now.

yerp i definitely think polishing the game before advertising a lot is a great idea.

as was stated the game atm is supported more by word of mouth than advertising. I keep an eye daily on the amount of new sign ups and visit every members page that signs up within 2 days at the latest so at least they know someone has visited their site. We are averaging about 2-5 new players per day.

Ii had an idea to push advertising and made a post about it but overall as the posts were coming in I tend to agree that we need to fix whats broke before we go on an all out advertising spree.

I understand the want to wait till things are fixed, the thing I was thinking of was the monthly bill for the servers is all. The relatively same people are not gonna keep throwin down a couple hundred a month. Guess we shall just see what happens.

You could also post about the game in forums. I have a couple forums I go to that I have mentioned the game about.

i posted a list of sits that the players could go to and report about the game and such but everyone agreed it's better we hold off till we are more stable which i agree with.

i agree on the monthly bill issue as you say same people every month, but we are getting more people in the game daily and a bigger player base would help tremendously but my hands are tied until we get the go ahead from the DV's and players agree that its time to advertise the game.

i have everything waiting for the go ahead to advertise the NEW EA to the public.
