Arc Farion - Endless Ages

Couple thoughts/points on the Arc Farion.

1. There needs to be an option for buying a lot more ammo for the gun from the TP. Buying one reload at a time for 2 tokens is a real big pain. This gun uses a lot of ammo. It would be nice to be able to buy ammo in quantities of 50.

2. The gun just does not do enough damage. fighting various mobs it literally averages a 4 shot burst of something like 40,40, 50, 60 with an occasional 80. makes average damage less than 200 per burst.

When you PVP with it the gun is literally useless. shooting someone with full 15 armor most of the time nets you something like 26,27,40,61. Averaging maybe 140 to 150 damage *If* you get all 4 shots on target.

Hunting mobs and PVP the net launcher seems much more effective and honestly more fun to use.

I would increase the speed of the bullets. Increase the speed of the burst. and increase the damage by at least 20. The gun should fire 4 really speedy shells in about 1 second and then have a refire rate of about 1.5 seconds. you could even go to 2 seconds on the refire if the burst was super fast with super fast bullets and each did about 50 damage to full 15.

This is the level 17 death gun we are talking about here.

Officially-- blegh is not a gm, at least to my knowledge. He was voted in as a forum mod long before I showed up and has been doing a fabulous job.

Agreed. Arc Farion to my knoledge sucks, badly. And second, bLeGh is cool like that!

I know u guys worked hard on developing that gun but after i got it, its not worth $100.00... A WS does better damage on mobs and PVP...

If all the shots from the arc came out at once, it would be a decent pvp weapon... but as its now its not rly worth using =)

though, being a tp item, it shouldnt really be better then questable weapons in the first place... then again, it should be rated as a lvl 13 gun, and not a 17, according to dmg.... my pulse master does more burst dmg and overall dmg then arc... sadly enough

And yea... it should really be a quantity option on TP when it comes to ammo, buying one and one ammo pack is just a pain =)

i dont see why not. Whats the difference if you have to hunt for 4 hours killing ne mob or working for 8 hours to get the money.

Its not like there is a complex gun quest in the game for it.

It should be turned up so that it is an appropriate LVL 17 weapon. If they later take it off TP and put in is as quest then great.
