I personally really liked the token Idea, it gave a sense of rarity to who ever could get the tokens. They were like a huge leap up to like another sort of currency that was completely regulated by the people. Another reason I liked how u got armor.....those gems weren't sold in stores, they were priced by people who got them.

Plus as a HM in last EA, I never got token gear :-P, but I had plenty of tokens at one point which really sucked cause I could never use them, so I made my own events :-P

Also the event token forced the devs into the game more, so that players could more freely communicate with them, and who wasn't a fan of those spawn parties :-P.

Personally I'd rather see everything quested, I got loads of tokens but I didnt really care for the token system, I thought it brought a bit of unbalance.

ya im gonna have to agree with rolley, but those spawn parties WERE fun :P
i think that the tokens were like diamonds, in that not eveyone has them, but they are priced by the ppl. so was thinking of like a gem system where you could have like gems you find off mobs and they be worth something to someone. or usefull in a quest. or just sell it in the store. its sorta like the agate, amber, topaz thing in booster (dunno if it was in gold) but like expand it a bit, but don't make them like tokens where you can break the economy with one....

Personally i think the best thing to do for now is to just start at ground zero with the basic old school EA (with some basic clan/gui/balance/etc improvements) and then as a community decide on how the game should go from their.

Lol you all remember everytime something changed in EA how every1 would go nutz, ppl hated change in EA. While the game demands change i think it should be reasonable change nothing something so drastic as in some past situations.

i dunno, if there are tokens i think they should only be for fun, kinda pointless things. it was really annoying how the only good hunting gun for APs was sealed away with a price for 4 tokens.

I agree. The AP Trin N was the sh@t . Sence I knew I would never have 4 tokens I dished out 20 mil for mine.

not to mention, no other AP gun was good against coa mobs and what not. rune and death didn't fare so well against wrights as i recall.

that plant gun.. lol cant remember wat it was but it was 1 handed little root looking gun.. did n damage and their were other of that gun but did diff dammage, i found that good in coa n stuff.. but then again never really hunted on my frog :S

I remember Quadune -Rn. I think there was a Quaderth -E and another one, but I don't quite remember. I wasn't much of a frog enthusiast.

and again i agree with roleypoo on this... there has been so much spam on ideas for EA and it isnt even up yet. if all the ideas we have had so far was implemented it wouldnt be EA anymore.

i have sead this b4 but any MMO should grow and anyone who doesnt like change shouldnt be playing a MMO they should just stick to games like CSS/UT/COD. change should come gradualy with small changes every month or so to fix things like ballence/bugs and and more content to the world to keep long time players interested but what should never be changed is basic mechanics and rules.

to me though tokens did seem a bit strange, i did like the token items themselves but only being able to aquire tokens from events was a bad idea. i would like to see all the token items braught back but i would prefer them to be part of fun quests instead, this woiuld give us much more to enjoy and do.

because hes full of it lol
he had plenty of tokens and if not all token items he could want and he had that 4 token ap gun
i love hte idea of tokens nad think they should bring htem back
its a competetion among all players basically to do their best adn try to get them
for rare and good items
people wouldnt try as hard in events if tokens were only for gay stuff with no use
