Well, since I've never played it yet, I don't know if you can send eachother PM's.... but if you can, special characters would be very annoying.

Names should only contain pronounceable characters.
Having people named sh/t like "Q('_'Q)" is seriously stupid.

Well my good man. Its obviously not a waste of forums space because i know plenty of people who have special chars in their name. I saw in the Game that your not able to do it so i asked. How about you keep your sarcasm to yourself, and dont comment if your going to be a douche. Also just because you dont want special chars in your name doesnt mean that other people are. I agree with you about the all special char things, but people use em to like make their names in diff ways. So - Some people want to make their name original, and not gay like Inggy and umm ill Get real when i please. and well.........

BTW AJ it is a waste of forum space and if allowed you will have players running around with nothing but special characters as their nic. Watch your attitude towards others. As for my nic Inggy it has been around for more than a decade. Some of us have been around the online gaming community for a very long time.

last EA, in booster, my name was "Lord_Of_W@r" and no other game will let me have those fun characters in it...but if you don't make a pronounceable name its not like you have to speak it either lol, if you use the special chars in a stupid way...you will just be looked down upon.

Yeah I think stupid names or names with soecual characters in it are kind of childish, some can look cool but most look chlidish.
For example W4rlord was a cool name back in the day.

I say let then have the name they want, it's their own fault nobody will talk to them if it takes to long to type out a name. Also makes them sound like some kinda robot, eew.

listen Manjuice its a poll... so everyone here has something to do with it... you asked us. anyway fix that attitude of your buddy you just make yourself sound like a complete tosser. dont put up a poll and then say stay out of it of it has nothing to do with you... thats just retarded. anyway i voted yes cos it entirely up to the player what name they want.. if they want a dumb name they should be able to.
there i posted what you gonna do about it?

Well Im not going to vote because it doesnt matter to me but I dont think becuase of this one pole their going to change what they already have done. They are the experts. They are the ones letting you guys play again. Be happy with what you get. If you arent..go somewhere else. I really have to agree like making names like !@#$%^ and it only shows your maturity level. If its resonable like mentioned before ]-[ for H or $ for S @ for A then I think we would all be happy enough.

When I see the special chars in a players name I automaticly assume they are 12 years old. Figure its an attention thing.

It would be nice for things like creating multiple characters on one account but it's not like theres millions of people who play EA so it doesn't really make that much difference. As long as they don't add ASCII or numpad codes I give it a yes.
