Request overtime macros be put into the game..
Request overtime macros be put into the game.. I think they did this with alc and such.. But overtime I feel be a great Idea to add macros like plant picking and such right into the game rather then a external program..
It helps out the people who had issues with the programs and such and I think it would make it easy...
Maybe its silly

If it was just built into the game it wouldn't need to be a macro at all... just have picking plants be a channeled thing that keeps going until you cancel it.

uhhh... is it really that hard to make a paper wasp and shove it between your f8 and f7 key to make your f8 key stick down? if you got something on f7 you can put a small heavy rock or something similar on it too. i dunno why you would need external programs for something that easy.

I think a better question is why should you have to do something as silly and jamming random items into your keyboard when it could be a function of the game...everybody did it.

... because find random objects to shove into your keyboard is half the fun of plant picking...

I used simple macros. In game macros would be better.

Yeah a built in macro tool would be cool to have, KeyText is a pain in the neck to use if you don't know how to create macros.
I also think it would be cool to be able to play a char while macroing another.
Because you usually need or want more than one race to have a balanced account, say your main is a Blobic, but you also want to make your own heals or ammo, it would be cool to be able to play your Blobic while your HM/HF levels Engy or Alch.
This would also be useful for people who wanted a 'Blue' character but also wanted to have a 'Red' character. You could be questing and lvling on your good guy while you're PKer could be leveling a PKers most important skills such as Hide and Reveal.
It would be cool to have an options window on the HUD or in the options screen under Inventory for example. Make it limited so you couldn't actually log on your other character and walk around, just make it a text screen where you would choose one of your other characters and what skill you wanted to level. If you choose Alchemy for example, it would bring up your characters inventory so you could access the kits and materials. If it was hide you choose to level then it would just bring up your Familiars book or another hide tool.
Keep it to limited skills though so you cant level WT or Melee on both characters at the same time.
Skills such these would be on the list.
-Hide
-Reveal
-Alchy
-Engy
-Smithy
-Magic
