Loot things faster? - Endless Ages

It seems looting things is really hard to pull off in a quick manner. Every time a mob dies, it just respawns as fast or another mob is on me. It takes like 5 seconds to loot a corpse, if your lucky. Once the screen comes up I gotta move my mouse over to the screen, and hope the loot all button works. If I pass the body on the landing down the screen doesn't auto close and I have this screen in my face that's hard to get rid of (yes, spending time to click the x button + dodging mobs is hard for me to do). Sometimes it does work, but I don't loot anything and have to re-loot. It's really annoying. I know if you clear an area where mobs don't attack you there isn't a problem, but when I need to rush in a mob I killed, grab the loot and go, I often find myself killed. I recommend a way to bring the loot screen up, then a key (L key or x again) that auto loots everything. Or maybe my looting skillz suck. Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, I agree. Looting *is* quite a pain, but I've gotten used to it...

It *would* be nice to have looting like it used to be, where we could just open the loot screen and just press the Enter key to loot all, instead of having to move the mouse over the Loot All button as fast as we can =)

You can close a loot screen by pressing your 'ESC' key.

I think I prefer the new method over the previous incarnations, holding the 'Enter' key down always seemed to take longer than the current method. But I agree a shortcut key to "loot all" would be nice.

My examine is linked to the right click and makes looting so much faster. i know a lot of people have right click as jp tho.

I agree that it would be nice to have a 'Loot All' shortcut also.

maybe before giving the gms another job we could come up with an idea.... imo i dont thinnk everything should spawn right after it dies,but there is solutions like maybe you could drag watever your fighting away from where it spawns that way you can get the loot faster.I know this wouldn't work in every location so does anyone else have ideas?

Here's what you can use to loot things real quick: before hunting, kill something and open loot screen, drag the lootscreen so that "loot all" button is on your crosshair. Now when you loot a mob all you have to do is leftclick as soon as you open the lootscreen and voila.

Still doesn't solve the fact that the Loot All button may or may not click, or it will click and the window closes but you still don't get the loot :/.

Accually it always clicks if you click it right and the reason it sometimes doesnt loot is if you Click "X" while your in range and move out of range before clicking Loot/Loot All. With some mobs or SS forms this makes it extremly hard to loot :P

Yea, they should just close the window like most other games do if your outta' range
