a few issues

ive got a few issues i want to discuss and maybe get changed:

1st - Trading... i think that the trading radius being shortened sucks. there are no safezones and if you have spent hours making peroxi and you try to trade it then you will get probly pked. Then as potions are dropped you lose your stuff. i know you may say bank it... but how are you gonna trade it if its banked :S

2nd - Safezones... At the moment you can be killing anwhere... this is ok but i reckon there should be some safezones like trendor or inside bc... because there must be a place where you can go to store your stuff without being raped... and with trading shortened it makes it hard

3rd - Jetpacks... The jetpacks last too long which makes pvp suck.... Also we need a non drop jetpack with some power in it so you dont lose one every time you get pked... or if you die high on a ledge you can get your body back

4th - Umbalanced stuff... What is up with the unbalanced pvp... Frogs move way too fast and are too small which makes it hard to hit them... along with them being the fastest race and can hop high and fast, but they also shoot instantly like as soon as they shoot it will hit its target. They do about 60+ damage even on the 14/15 combos with oaf this makes them extremely hard to fight against. While blobs are slow and massive targets and just free hits as only a real noob would miss a blob. Pvp sucks if your not a frog.
To balance it bring back the old oaf that was more like a chalis.. or slow down the fire time so its not insta hit but takes like 2+ seconds to fire.. and increase the damage so it does like 120 dmg to even it out.

5th - Trading security... This needs to be changed to be more secure... You need to change it like most games trading system. right now if you add cash for the item and they add the item and discard it after they offer it and you have confirmed... they just press confirm and they have the cash.

well killjoy, the safezones will be put back in "before game goes live" is what jason said in a previous post. so there will be safe zones ingame before or at release. so that would take care of your trading issue. If your trading something rare or expensive that is dropable then you should stay in a SZ and trade. most banks are in a SZ (other than BM and FT) so keep the stuff your trading in the bank untill ready to trade, then trade right from the bank lol. You know that there are PKers so you have to be careful where you trade...

the jetpack thing is a bug and i'm sure that will be fixed soon. and the pvp is pretty balanced. frogs have always been hard to hit. telos just slowed down the oafronack to basically what it was back then. but frogs are small and will always be hard to hit. BL pwn at pvp if you know how to play it right. they have uber HP and chalis hits like a mofo. i think the oaf is now at 1.7 at 120 or something like that (telos said the other night he fixed that locally, not uploaded on the server yet).

and for your last issue. be careful who you trade.. i've never came across someone doing that to me but ya never know lol. but i thought you couldn't delete anything while in trade window. dunno.

Yeah i agree with Killjoy. Mainly with the trade radius. That really sucks, a lot of people loved the newer trade way, how u could trade from anywhere. It was awesome, you didnt have to travel a long wayz or all that just to trade for an orb or heals... If the people liked it, why take it away? Somtimes the Devs just have to learn to accept waht the people want and work around that instead of what htey think is best for the game. Please... Reset it to map trade.... Plus the whole having to add something on both sides of trade sucks..

having to offer something in order to process the trade isn't that bad. i mean taking that out would be ok, but not that big of a deal. but with the whole trading from anywhere in the game was stupid lol. it was maybe a little easier, but still pointless. it makes sense you have to be next to the person to trade them. it's always been that way and i think it should stay that way. so you have to meet them somewhere, whats the big deal?

My problem with it is the trouble with my clan and the noobs. The n00bs end up in their homecity *IIA and HC* and when you need to help them, maybe a little extra spending money to help them out, you have to search like an hour to find them becuase they dont know where the hell they are.

You tell them to stand still and tell you their surroundings?

Think about it, if you needed more heals while hunting in CoA or catas or deep in 14/15, you could easily ask a friend to trade you some heals and they'd trade you them. I dunno if it was changed before, but it wasn't just zone trading, it was literally cross map trading.

You issue with frogs? Honestly that's what balances the game. Making a Chalis out of a oaf? I don't think so. Blobs have massive damage and wide splash, that's how it's evened out. Oaf has no splash and small damage. So they get a fast fire rate and projetile. And Humans are intermed in in damage/splash.

ashy i mean like the old oaf... atm it has a too high dps.... it fires every like 1 second on insta fire/hit doing like 60 damage... there is no skill needed and this is not even taking into account how fast the frog travels and how small and hard to hit it is

but with the old oaf it was more like chalis in the fact it needed skill to shoot... thats what i meant

and blank/or green i meant if you were selling peroxis... not just giving them to a friend

1.) Frogs are made to go fast, that is why they are little small creatures insted of big ones like blobs...

2) I think they are just bugged out of the ass right now is why they do so much damage, if people had net guns right now they would beat the oafs damage by 200... This needs to be fixed and no doubt will.

3) PVP owns if your a Blob, the 14 and 16 guns for the blobs are the most accurate and devistating guns!! I was in the Gold generation, back when the frames per second were at a decent rate making PVP/PK 10X faster then it was and is now.. Frogs were still the fastest...Blobs the slowest... I perfered the Blobs, they have there advantages over frogs and frogs have there advantages over blobs with the humans in the middle..

I do however think the oaf should be how it was in Gold, this would give the frogs even more of an advantage over Humans and BLs..

im not talking about nerfing the speed of them or anything... i know they are supposed to be speedy... its just they do too much damage for their speed

First things first, me != Green eyes. We're 2 different people, why is everyone always thinking we're the same person?

Anyway... There's no way to differentiate the difference between selling and giving to a friend. If there were two different commands people would just do sell and the friend would put in like 1 cred. And any other way would result in the other person most likely getting their money back. There's no way to make zone wide/cross map trades do-able. Even maxed blobs aren't strong enough to throw 100+ peroxies into firetown, through to catas and into datro room. Or even to AP island from BC. Once safe zones are put in place in what, like 2 days tops, there won't be such a problem with not long range trading.

That is to much damage for any speed or size. It isn't suppost to be like that, it's the same way with the net gun. Telos I think it was told me that, the netty is or was doing some 500 damage or some thing like that.

Just Alpha/Beta what ever stage it is on now.

Netgun is doing a combination of splash and direct damage right now. The same can be said about chalis. I havn't made any true efforts to balance them yet, just some experimental values. Beyond that, I also need to find a way to make neronicle a bit better. That gun is sorely underpowered. The 16 guns had problems even in gold. They made the 14 guns completely useless, both for hunting and for pvp. They simply outdamaged and outclassed the 14 guns. Looking for a balance here among other things, but not to worried about that before people start getting the guns after the wipe.

While we're at it, what's the AP 14 gun? In booster it was the quadune from AK, but are APs gonna get a real 14 gun?

if you ran out of heals in coa or anywhere, you would have to leave and get more from your bank. It's never been cross zone or map for that reason. and it shouldn't be. I'm done talking about this stupid trade **** lol

it was at one point at least, i traded a set of wings from outside Trendor to Catas. Unless Rys got his AP outta catas long enough to get wings from me.
