Are clan functions going to change?

A suggestion.....

We need to be able to have a deputy leader or 2 AKA a person/s with the same functions as a leader but no disban clan permission.
It was a major pain to have to give someone your password so they could add/kick members when necessary. Good thing that I highly trusted my clannies cause i've known them from way before EA was even a thought.
Not to mention its never good to give your pass to an "internet" friend. LoL


Also, a Clan leader should be able to have his own house without having to create another account.


Like to hear what others think.

That text based clan system was interesting....but a GUI would be nice. Guild wars is an example of the perfect clan GUI. But we should make it have more options, ranks, and permissions. A good quality to a game is to allow a clan to work together more easily, and make advancements within that clan possible. A separate clan house would be really nice....and make it impossible for you to be killed when you are in your house when the door is closed.

I happened to ask Jason about clans specifically due to the engine change. He said that they had a lot more functions, and were easier to use. I can't say for sure what new things we can expect there, but as far as I can tell, we'll be able to get more out of them.

Im really excited about EA's rebirth. Ive played a lot of games since it died and Ive never found another that held my interest like EA
.
I forsee many,many nights playing EA looking up at my clock and it saying 4AM and going
"OMFG!! I have to be up in 1 1/2 hours!!!!!!!!!".

Just like I used to do when I started playing it the first time around. LOL

Hey Jason, do u know if you could give us a screenie of that clan GUI...it would be nice to see what it looks like so clans could start planning themselves out.

That and we could probably think of ways to improve it...and if we can't than it is an awesome clan GUI / system :-P
